Angela's famous and popular songs
Let me introduce songs by the male-female duo angela (Angela).
angela was formed in 1993 and made their major debut in 1999.
They returned to the indie scene in 2000, and then made another major debut in 2003.
They have performed many theme songs for anime and have appeared multiple times at Animelo Summer Live (Anisama), an event featuring artists who perform anime songs.
As they mainly work on anime songs, they also perform at overseas events alongside Japanese anime culture, and it seems you can buy their CDs abroad as well.

DEAD SETangela

The image song for the anime Fafner in the Azure: RIGHT OF LEFT.
It aired in 2005 as a special program and is a prequel set one year before Fafner in the Azure.
It depicts Operation “Plan L,” which was carried out to conceal the location of Tatsumiya Island from the Festum and the Neo U.N.
Peace of mindangela

The ending theme of the anime Fafner in the Azure: Right of Left.
It strongly feels like a song about the protagonist and the heroine.
The scene where Puku, the pet dog, snuggles up to the now-empty cockpit was heartbreaking.
Separationangela

The ending theme of the anime “Fafner in the Azure.” The CD includes both the opening and ending themes.
Because the ending begins with a monologue by the protagonist’s childhood friend, Soushi Minashiro, fans refer to it as a “death poem.”

At that moment, to the azure sky.angela
An insert song from the anime Fafner in the Azure: EXODUS.
It played in episode 9, “The Two Heroes.” The track was used during the scene where the World Tree—the Mir controlled by the Human Army—is attacked by the Festum, and Kazuki Makabe and Soushi Minashiro arrive to join the fight.
It’s a legendary episode for fans, but in a sense, it was also an episode that raised questions about how to use the Luger Lance.
FORTUNESangela

One of the image songs for the 2010 theatrical anime Fafner in the Azure: HEAVEN AND EARTH.
The lyrics, which seem to express the protagonist’s feelings toward his childhood friend who vanished after promising to “return to Tatsumiya Island someday,” have led some fans to call it a “depressing song.” In a sense, it could even be considered the theme song for the protagonist, Kazuki Makabe.
Separation[pf]angela

“Separation [pf]” is an arrangement of “Separation,” which appears on the single “Shangri-La.” It was used as the ending theme for an episode where someone disappears.
In the anime, the second verse of the lyrics was used, and episode 6, focusing on Shoko Hasama, left a strong impression.
Horizonangela

The second ending theme of the anime Fafner in the Azure: EXODUS.
The ending visuals featured additional versions: one with Koyo returning in episode 19, and another with Misao deciding to join forces in episode 21.
Note: I couldn’t find a video with only Horizon, so I picked one that’s stitched together.
