How about making a cherry blossom garland that spreads across the entire wall, with large, vivid sakura blooms? For each blossom, layer and glue together two sheets of colored paper to create a two-tone effect.

Once assembled, add firm mountain and valley folds to easily give it a three-dimensional look.

Under the large blossoms, hang bead-like ornaments, and use the leftover colored paper trimmed from making the flowers to cut out petals to dangle below.
