Table hockeyNEW!

Introducing a table hockey game that seniors will love.

As preparation, attach pool cues or similar items to both ends of the table to prevent the ball from falling off.

Also, since hitting with bare hands can be dangerous, make protective covers for the hands using items like milk cartons.

Players sit facing each other and hit the ball back and forth.

The first to 5 points wins, and you score by making the ball fall off on your opponent’s side.

Because the ball can fly fast when hit hard, use something light like a ping-pong ball.

Putter golf that seniors can easily enjoy #dayservice #recreation #eldercare
mini-golfNEW!

Instead of clubs, use badminton rackets and enjoy putter golf indoors.

Any ball that’s easy to hit is fine.

Place a cardboard box with holes as the target.

The holes have point values written on them, so aim for higher scores when you hit the ball.

If the ball passes through the hole without going in, it won’t count.

Be sure to control your strength so the ball goes into the hole.

To make it easier for older adults to aim, it’s a good idea to add markers—such as tape—around the holes.

Ping-Pong SmashNEW!

[Sports Recreation] Exciting 🏓 Ping-Pong Smash 🏓 #shorts #seniors #dayservice #recreation #sports #tabletennis #Kofu #Yamanashi #rehabilitation #nursingcare #carefacility
Ping-Pong SmashNEW!

Ping-Pong Smash for solo play uses a table tennis table and racket.

Baskets marked with scores are placed on the table.

Bounce the ball once, hit it with the racket, and try to land it in a basket.

You have 15 balls, so aim for the baskets with higher scores.

However, the high-scoring baskets are smaller and shallower, making them harder to hit.

In particular, the 100-point target is a small PET bottle, so it’s quite challenging.

After all balls have been played, total the points to decide the winner.

Boccia-style gameNEW!

A boccia-style game where you compete by throwing balls into a designated area set on the floor.

Prepare two colors of balls in equal quantities.

Mark off the area on the floor with tape and place a pole in the center.

Once the game starts, players take turns throwing balls so that they come to rest inside the area.

As the area fills up with balls, aim to hit your opponent’s balls to push them out.

The player with more balls remaining in the area at the end wins.

Since you only need to sit and throw, older adults can join easily.

rod soccerNEW!

Today's activity at Day Service Hidamari is stick soccer ⚽️ #dayservice recreation
rod soccerNEW!

Stick Soccer is an indoor game that lots of people can enjoy.

Each player holds one stick, divides into teams, and lines up side by side.

Sit on chairs facing the opposing team.

Place a goal on each side of the teams, and start the game! Use your sticks to hit the ball back and forth so it goes into the opposing team’s goal.

Since swinging the sticks up is dangerous, try to keep them as close to the floor as possible.

Work together with your team and go for the win!

Balloon kickNEW!

Recreation for seniors: fun and engaging, easy for those with moderate to severe conditions to join—let’s kick the balloon into the goal!
Balloon kickNEW!

It’s a game where you kick a balloon with a weight attached and try to get it through a ring made from newspaper.

When you kick, do it while seated in a chair.

Balloons are light, so even people without much kicking strength can join.

However, balloons are tricky to predict in flight, so getting them through the ring is surprisingly difficult.

Take careful aim before you kick.

For the weight, use two bottom pieces cut from milk cartons.

Make slits in the bottoms and attach them to the balloon’s knot—that’s it.

Prepare both small and large rings.

Balloon BaseballNEW!

Swing for the fences! ⚾️🏏 We all love it! Balloon baseball 🎈 #elderly #recreation #dayservice #shorts #baseballgame #balloon
Balloon BaseballNEW!

In regular baseball you hit a ball, but in this version you use a balloon instead and have fun with it.

Since you hit while seated, please fix the balloon in a position that’s easy for older participants to reach.

It’s best to use a lightweight, easy-to-hold plastic bat.

Aim the balloon at baskets labeled with points.

The score varies by basket, so try to go for the highest-scoring ones.

It might also be fun to add elements like home runs and outs, not just points.

Swing the bat with gusto and blow off some stress!
