Les Romanesques is a duo known for their eye-catching, extravagant makeup and costumes.

MIYA, a member who handles guitar, dance, cheerleading, and also assists in various roles, hails from Gunma Prefecture.

In 2000 in Paris, she formed Les Romanesques with vocalist TOBI.

In their early days, they performed at clubs and festivals in Paris, and after doing a live show at Paris Fashion Week, they gained worldwide recognition.

In 2011, following an appearance at FUJI ROCK, they relocated their base to Japan.

Although MIYA’s outfits and makeup resemble those of a drag queen, she is actually a woman.

She also made her solo debut in 2019.

He often highlights his Gunma roots on television and serves as a Gunma Ambassador to promote the prefecture.

Junko Yanagisawa, who performs as an enka singer, is from Isesaki City in Gunma Prefecture.

Her song “Anata ni Kataomoi” was used as the commercial jingle for Fuji Heavy Industries’ fourth-generation Subaru Sambar Truck.

When she debuted, she performed as Junko Yanagisawa (柳沢純子), but later changed the writing of her name to Junko Yanagisawa (柳澤純子).

Noriko Kaise, who was a member of the idol group Onyanko Club, is from Gunma Prefecture.

She served as the front vocalist on “Meshibe to Oshibe,” a track included on their 8th single, “Katatsumuri Samba.” Although she had experience as a front vocalist on album tracks, this was her first time on a single’s included track.

Daisuke Endo, who runs the solo project DÉ DÉ MOUSE, is from Ota City in Gunma Prefecture.

He works as a composer, arranger, producer, and DJ, showcasing his talent both in Japan and abroad.

After debuting in 2007 with the album “tide of stars,” he has created music not only for his own works but also for a wide range of settings, including stage productions and television programs.

His projects include planetarium live performances, bon odori events, and even the show music for Kiki & Lala performed at Sanrio Puroland.

He demonstrates his multifaceted abilities without reserve.

NAIKA MC is a freestyle rapper from Gunma Prefecture.

He became interested in hip-hop and other genres in high school, and at 18 he performed on stage for the first time as a rapper.

In 2009, he formed the rap group Yakousei POSSE with fellow artists from Gunma and released the album “MID NIGHT WALKER.” He later released his solo album “THE TALK MANSHOW” in 2013.

Achieving outstanding results in numerous contests and rap battles, he went on to win the 2016 “ULTIMATE MC BATTLE,” the premier competition for freestyle rap.

Koi-shio Ringo, who is active as a member of the idol group Band ja Naimon!, is from Gunma Prefecture.

She previously performed under the stage name Shio Ringo.

The group’s sixth single, “Kimemaster!/Kimochi Dake Sanka Shimasu,” became their first to reach the Top 10 on the Oricon Weekly Chart.
