I hope she keeps growing bigger and bigger and soars as a top idol hailing from Gunma!

Ayabie

Member departures, hiatuses, reunions…

The visual-kei band Ayabie has led a tumultuous band life.

Its vocalist, Hika(ri) no Himawari, is from Takasaki City in Gunma Prefecture.

After forming in 2004, their music career progressed smoothly for a time, but in 2010 all members except Himawari left the band.

Since Himawari had also planned to go solo, he performed for a while under the name Aoi from Ayabie, but by the end of 2010 he suspended activities using the Ayabie name.

Later, in 2019, the members reunited and resumed activities together.

The contrast between his beautifully typical visual-kei singing voice and his cute appearance is delightful!
