Nippon TaroKaga Yuko

Enka singer Yuko Kaga, known for her rich, deeply emotive voice, hails from Ishikawa Prefecture.
In 2014, she released “Nippon Taro” from Nippon Crown.
Despite her striking beauty, her powerful, Kobushi-inflected phrasing is truly overwhelming.
The song “Nippon Taro,” which carries a passionate message of “Live like a man!” in its lyrics, suits her perfectly.
Based in Kanazawa City, she frequently appears at events.

ChopstickMAYA(NiziU)

MAYA, a member of NiziU born from the Japan–Korea joint global audition project “Nizi Project,” is from Ishikawa Prefecture.
Her member color is purple, and she was still in her teens when NiziU was formed.
She has strong dance skills; before joining NiziU, she competed in national contests and was also active as a member of Tiny Tony, a dance group based in Ishikawa.
In 2020, she successfully became a member of NiziU, pre-debuting in June with the digital mini-album “Make you happy,” and making her official major debut in December with “Step and a step.” She is seen as a maternal figure and someone the members rely on.

Smilepush-pull pot

Push Pull Pot is a band from Kanazawa City in Ishikawa Prefecture, known for their hot, high-energy sound.
Formed in 2017, they released their first EP, “Shihatsu-eki” (First Train Station), the following year.
Despite member changes, they won numerous awards, including the Excellence Award at the Chubu FINAL of HOTLINE, a band contest organized by Shimamura Music.
When they performed at the large Nagoya circuit festival “Dera Rock” in 2020, their popularity was such that entry restrictions had to be imposed, and their momentum shows no sign of slowing down.
Ja-nayKaga Takeshi

Takeshi Kaga, an actor also famous for appearing on the variety show “Iron Chef,” is from Kanazawa City in Ishikawa Prefecture.
He joined the Shiki Theatre Company in 1972 and was active there; after leaving, he took part in numerous popular TV dramas and films.
He is known for his commanding presence on screen.
As a singer, he has released four singles and his third album.
His 1996 single “Ja-nay” was featured on the children’s program “Ponkickies,” so many of you may have heard it.

Tomoko Ishizaka, who was active on the idol scene in the 1980s, is from Kanazawa City in Ishikawa Prefecture.
In 1979, she won the Grand Prix at the Toshiba-EMI Kayō Talent Scout Caravan and made her singing debut the following year with “Arigatō.” In total, she released five singles and two albums, then retired from the entertainment industry in just under two years from her debut.
She has a naturally pure vocal tone with a soothing charm.

BLINDNozaki Morio

Bassist and studio musician Morio Nozaki is from Kanazawa City in Ishikawa Prefecture.
He made his major debut in 1999 as a member of the rock band LOOP THE LOOP.
He left the band the following year and went on to serve as a support member for Porno Graffitti for about 14 years starting in 2004.
He is also active as a solo artist and frequently hosts his own live shows.
Incidentally, his older brother, Shinsuke Nozaki, is a professional drummer who has also participated as a support musician on Porno Graffitti’s works.
