O’s is a sister duo from Goto City in Nagasaki Prefecture.
There’s a story that they grew up harmonizing together as a childhood pastime, so you could say they were destined to become singers.
After the unit disbanded in 2008, the older sister, Satomi, formed Luxis with Hitomi Natsuse and Ado Matsushita and made her re-debut.
The younger sister, Miyaka, began her solo career.

The four-piece rock band ircle from Oita Prefecture has been an accomplished act since their formation in 2003, continuing without any lineup changes.
Building on emotional guitar rock and incorporating elements of metalcore and rap-rock/mixture, they’ve steadily grown their fanbase with a heavy, powerful sound.
Their diverse body of work, including albums like “Furueru” and “Cosmic City,” showcases an evolution that weaves in pop and ballad elements as well.
In 2017, they held a 15th-anniversary one-man show at Shibuya CLUB QUATTRO, captivating the audience with overwhelming musicianship and stage presence.
While remaining independent and avoiding affiliation with major labels, they’ve carved out a solid presence in Japan’s rock scene.

Mia, the central figure and vocalist of the music unit Sangatsu no Phantasia—which features multiple creators such as composers and illustrators—is also an artist from Kyushu.
Based on the unit’s concept of “imagining stories of endings and beginnings,” she leads the music production with original novels she writes herself, captivating listeners with uniquely imaginative songs born from a meticulously crafted worldview and clear artistic direction.
With tie-ins across TV anime, games, and commercials, she is a noteworthy artist whose broad acclaim is evident.
PRIDEImai Miki

With a gentle, motherly singing voice that envelops listeners’ hearts—that is Miki Imai.
Hailing from Miyazaki Prefecture, she initially worked not as a singer but as a model and actress after moving to Tokyo.
She made her singing debut in 1986 with the release of “Tasogare no Monologue,” and continued her acting career in parallel.
She has released numerous hit songs, including “PIECE OF MY WISH” and “PRIDE,” the latter produced by her husband, guitarist Tomoyasu Hotei.
She and her husband performed together on her 2004 tour and again at the 2006 NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen.
Flowers of TsugaruHarada Yuuri

Yuri Harada, who is active as an enka singer, is from Hondo City, Kumamoto Prefecture, now part of Amakusa City.
Her signature song, “Tsugaru no Hana,” was a major hit that sold 600,000 copies, and with this song she made her first appearance at the 50th NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen.
She also won the Excellent Work Award at the 41st Japan Record Awards.
FREERMukai Taichi

A singer-songwriter from Fukuoka, Kyushu, who is gaining attention with music that defies a single genre label, rooted in R&B while incorporating elements of alternative, ambient, and electronic.
“FREER,” included as a bonus track on the 2017 debut album BLUE, was featured in a commercial, and songs like “Reset” and “Michi” were later used in the TV anime Run with the Wind, so many of you may have already encountered their music.
Not limited to activity in Japan, they also successfully completed an Asia tour in 2019, making them an artist to watch for their future work overseas as well.
Tokyo NoisyŌmiya Hiyori

Hailing from Nagasaki Prefecture, singer-songwriter Hiyori Omiya is gaining attention for a distinctive style that fuses J-pop, rock, and R&B.
She made her major debut with Tokuma Japan in August 2024 and has been releasing a series of innovative tracks where mechanical sounds intertwine with her vocals.
A seasoned artist who has been writing lyrics since junior high school, she has written and composed around 500 songs.
Her digital EP released in January 2023 surpassed 43,000 streams, and in June 2024 she launched her first self-titled radio program on FM Nagasaki.
Channeling a deep love for anime and idols into her music, Omiya crafts a unique worldview that portrays the struggles of modern society and the inner lives of individuals—resonating strongly with younger generations living in the age of social media and the internet.
