A rock band brimming with human warmth, Japaharinet.

Sparked by a band circle at Matsuyama University, it was formed when bassist Kimiyuki Kashima took the lead and invited vocalist Kenjiro Kido.

They debuted in 2004 amid a frenzy that earned them the nickname of the strongest rock band in the Shikoku region.

Their song “Aishū Kōsaten” (Melancholy Intersection) was a hit.

Although they once disbanded, they reunited in 2015 and released a best-of album in 2020.

Their approachable, nostalgic, heart-tugging worldview is truly wonderful.

Japahari’s music somehow brings back youthful feelings.
