Kiyoshi, KAORI, and Shintaro, who are active as members of the ska-punk band DOMINO88, are from Shimane Prefecture.

“High-Tension Lover,” included on their 4th album Pleasure!, was used as the CM song for AEON’s “AEON no Genki Shirt” commercial.

Omoinotake is a three-piece band from Matsue, Shimane Prefecture, known for their distinctive sound strongly influenced by Black music such as soul, R&B, and hip-hop.

Featuring Reo Fujii’s soaring vocals and piano, Tomoaki Fukushima on bass, and Hironoshin Tomita on drums, they’ve drawn attention as a rare guitar-less band.

They made their major-label debut in November 2021 with their first EP, “EVERBLUE,” on Sony Music Labels, and in 2024 provided the theme song for the drama “Eye Love You,” starring Fumi Nikaido.

Even before their major debut, they showcased their abilities with street performances in Shibuya starting in 2017, drawing crowds of over 500 people at their peak.

Expressing Black music through a uniquely band-oriented approach, their sound is recommended not only for traditional rock fans but also for listeners who love R&B and soul.

Ken Nishikiori, who is active as a tenor singer, is from Izumo City in Shimane Prefecture.

He has released the single “Mikansei Kyosokyoku” (Unfinished Concerto), and the title track was used as the opening theme for the second season of the TV anime “Violinist of Hameln.”

The two members performing as Yugin are actually real brothers.

HIRO, who played guitar in the visual kei rock band La’cryma Christi, is from Shimane Prefecture.

Their fifth single, Mirai Kouro (Future Course), reached No.

3 on the Oricon weekly chart, the band’s highest position.

The title track was used as the ending theme for the anime Night Walker: Mayonaka no Tantei (Night Walker: The Midnight Detective).

Yosuke Kuroda and Shogo Takamoto, who perform as the folk duo KUROKO∞SHOW, are from Matsue City in Shimane Prefecture.

They made their street performance debut at JR Matsue Station in Shimane, moved their base to the shopping district in Shinsaibashi, Osaka in 2003, and relocated back to their home prefecture of Shimane in 2006.

In 2010, they released their second single, “WONDER WORLD.”

Makoto Ito, who works as a singer-songwriter, is from Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture.

In 2014, he was appointed as an Enishi Ambassador, a hometown ambassador for Shimane Prefecture.

His song “Kimi no Kaze ni Narou” was selected as the ending theme for the TV program “Kenja no Sentaku.”
