Mr.
CLIEVY is a vocalist from Oyama City, Tochigi Prefecture, known for his super high-tone voice.
Together with Mr.
KEEN, who hails from Kagoshima Prefecture and is renowned for his silky, beautiful voice, he performs as the male vocal duo C&K.
His high, beautiful tone—so pure it can be mistaken for a woman’s voice—is something you should definitely hear at least once.
On July 1, 2016, he was appointed Oyama Hyōjō Furusato Ambassador for Oyama City, Tochigi Prefecture.
Honda Hitomi

IZ*ONE is a joint idol group from Korea and Japan.
Hitomi Honda, affectionately known as Hii-chan, is both a member of IZ*ONE and of AKB48 Team 8.
As she openly says that her hobby is dancing, her dance skills are outstanding! She looks very cute, but when she dances, she’s cool—the contrast might be a big part of her charm.
Until April 2021, she suspended her activities with AKB48 Team 8 to work exclusively with IZ*ONE.
MAGIC OF LiFE

A rock band formed in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture.
This song was tied up with the Nippon TV program “Buzz Rhythm.” Their original band name was DIRTY OLD MEN, but they changed it in 2014.

itō kanako

Vocalist Kanako Itō, who is mainly active in game and anime songs, is from Utsunomiya City in Tochigi Prefecture.
She made her singing debut in 2002 with the theme song “Namida Tsukiru Made Naru Kane wa Hibiku” for the game Kikokugai.
She has also performed the opening theme for the anime Steins;Gate and the theme song for the mobile game app Hortensia Saga, so there’s a good chance you’ve heard her voice at least once.
Mori Masako

Masako Mori, born in 1958, is an enka singer from Utsunomiya City in Tochigi Prefecture.
She enrolled at Hosoya Elementary School in Utsunomiya and later transferred to Mita Elementary School in Minato Ward.
In 1971, at the age of 13, she appeared on Nippon TV’s “Star Tanjō!” and became the first Grand Champion.
It is said that she persuaded her initially opposed father and made her debut.
TGMX aka SYUTA-LOW TAGAMI

FRONTIER BACKYARD is a band characterized by songs that blend futuristic, beeping synthesizer sounds and modern guitar cutting with a punk-like sense of speed.
The vocalist from Tochigi Prefecture, TGMX aka SYUTA-LOW TAGAMI, handles various roles including synthesizer, bass, and programming.
Watanabe Sadao

Sadao Watanabe is from Utsunomiya City in Tochigi Prefecture.
Born in 1933, he is a saxophone player who graduated from Utsunomiya Technical High School.
Affectionately known as “Nabesada,” he has long been loved by music fans and continues to perform at the forefront even in his eighties.
His 1978 album California Shower was used in an NHK drama and became an unprecedented hit in the jazz world.
