Theory of the Mindful HeartNoda Yojiro (RADWIMPS)

The lead vocalist of the hugely popular rock band RADWIMPS is Yojiro Noda.
He writes both the lyrics and music for most of the band’s songs.
Born in Tokyo, he spent ages six to ten in Nashville, Tennessee, in the United States, making him a returnee student.
As a result, he’s fluent in English, and there are full-English versions of RADWIMPS’s big hits like “Your Name.” and “Zenzenzense.” Noda is active not only as a musician but also as an actor; he starred in the 2015 film “Pieta in the Toilet,” for which he won the Newcomer of the Year award at the 39th Japan Academy Prize.
A Cruel Angel’s ThesisTakahashi Yoko

When it comes to the theme song of Neon Genesis Evangelion, it has to be Yoko Takahashi.
She’s performed it many times on variety and music shows, so you’ve probably heard it at least once.
In college, she formed a band with members of a light music club, and before her major debut, she worked as a backup vocalist for artists like Toshinobu Kubota and Yumi Matsutoya, actively pursuing her music career.
Her powerful, soul-stirring vocals capture our hearts in an instant.
Give it a listen whenever you need a boost!
dogwood (flowering dogwood)Hitoto Yo

The singer Yo Hitoto, who exudes an oriental aura, was born in Taiwan and raised in Japan.
In college, she joined an a cappella club, where she met Yoichi Kitayama of The Gospellers, who praised her original poetry.
That experience led her to start singing using her own lyrics.
The song Morainaki, which begins with chant-like, distinctive verses, made quite an impact, didn’t it? I was also struck by her style of singing barefoot on stage.
As someone from Taiwan, her tracks with a hint of Asian flavor are especially pleasant—be sure to give them a listen!
To Hikarimiwa

Singer-songwriter miwa captivates with a voice that feels transparent yet powerful.
Her style of performing with just a guitar is undeniably cool! In recent years, she has expanded her activities into acting and voice acting, and her performance in the co-lead film with actor Kentaro Sakaguchi, “The 100th Love with You,” is still fresh in our minds.
Her song “Hikari e,” the theme for the Fuji TV drama “Rich Man, Poor Woman,” was her first-ever theme for a Monday 9 p.m.
drama and was written after she read the script.
Be sure to listen to this dance number that races forward like light, as she took on a sound unlike anything she had done before!
