The group’s name is an acronym for “Attack All Around,” which is said to embody the meaning of “taking on everything.”

They are a singer-songwriter duo formed by Eiji Wentz and Teppei Koike, who are also known for their work as TV personalities and actors.

The unit’s name was taken from the initials of “Wentz and Teppei.” They disbanded on February 12, 2016.

All members of the nationally renowned male idol group SMAP are from the Kanto region, with Goro Inagaki and Takuya Kimura hailing from Tokyo.

Their songs include many classics, and this song, “Sekai ni Hitotsu Dake no Hana” (The One and Only Flower in the World), was written and composed by Noriyuki Makihara and has now become a celebrated piece even featured in school textbooks.
