The rock band Davinci is the group that Ayase—now famous as the composer for the nationally beloved unit YOASOBI—once belonged to.

Formed with classmates when he was 16 in high school, this band marked the starting point of his musical career, performing primarily in their local area with a rock-based sound.

Ayase later won accolades such as the 65th Japan Record Awards Composer Award and the JASRAC Award for songs like Yoru ni Kakeru and Idol as part of YOASOBI.

In 2021, he was also appointed Ube Furusato Ambassador.
