Hometown Tax site Satofull: “Sense of Loss” version / “Which Satofull?” version / “Still Not Doing It” versionTokyo 03, Kumiko Aso

This is a SatoFuru commercial with the catchy tagline, “If you want to enjoy hometown tax donations.” Is it the balcony of a high-rise building? Four adults chat about SatoFuru while enjoying some cooking.
The same characters and scenery appear throughout the series, and through quizzes like “What are the key points of hometown tax donations?” and “Which SatoFuru region did the ingredients come from?” it conveys SatoFuru’s convenience in a warm, relaxed atmosphere.
SatoFuru “Big Winter Gathering” VersionKumiko Aso, Tokyo 03

One of the appealing things about the Satofull commercials is that each one connects to the others.
The one I’d like you to watch is the “Winter Gathering” installment.
It’s the third in the series following “That Day Again” and “View on Furusato Nozei,” and it’s crafted around the idea of comforting Akihiro Kakuta after a breakup with thank-you gifts from the hometown tax program.
Watching it together with the first two makes the world feel even deeper.
It’s also amusing that the structure has him being comforted with furusato tax return gifts after the breakup was caused by the hometown tax in the first place.
Winter GatheringKumiko Aso, Tokyo 03

The commercial titled “Winter Is All Here” expresses the idea that using the hometown tax program lets you enjoy delicious foods from all over Japan.
It’s a sequel to other spots in the series, featuring Akihiro Kakuta, who’s been heartbroken, being comforted with return gifts from the hometown tax program—like crab and bonito.
Be sure to check it out along with the episode where Kakuta gets a girlfriend and the previous one where he gets dumped.
Not only will you feel the expanding world of the series, but you’ll also catch jokes that land precisely because you watch them in sequence.

SatoFuru: “Let’s Show a Good Example” Version / “Rice with SatoFuru” VersionTokyo 03, Kumiko Aso

In this commercial, Mr.
Tsunomoto and Ms.
Kumiko Aso are at home when Mr.
Kakuta and Mr.
Iizuka come over, and the four of them are shown enjoying a meal together.
It looks like they’re having a barbecue with ingredients they received through the hometown tax donation program, and they’re talking about it.
There are two versions set in this scenario: “Let’s Show an Example” and “Rice from Satofull.” In both, there’s a touch of surreal humor where Mr.
Kakuta says something a bit anticlimactic, creating an awkward mood that wraps up the scene.
It’s a commercial with the compelling feel of watching a Tokyo 03 sketch.
The ‘Mikan’ EditionKumiko Aso, Tokyo 03

The “Mikan” commercial features Kumiko Aso and the members of Tokyo 03 eating mikans that are given as gifts through the hometown tax program.
Akihiro Kakuta delivers a gag where he compares the mikans to young people who moved to Tokyo with their former classmates, and gets a bit sentimental about it.
It’s a unique idea, isn’t it? Watch to see what kind of punchline Satoshi Iizuka delivers in response, as well as how the other two react.
Strangely enough, after watching it, you may end up feeling a little sorry for the mikans.
SatoFuru “People Who Don’t Do It — Winter” VersionKumiko Aso, Tokyo 03

When it comes to the comedy trio Tokyo 03, their appeal includes jokes delivered with a slightly serious tone.
With that in mind, I’d love for you to check out the Satoful commercial “People Who Don’t Do It – Winter.” In it, Kumiko Aso asks Akihiro Kakuta why he doesn’t use Satoful.
Satoshi Iizuka responds in a serious tone, but the punchline is that he didn’t really have any particular reason.
Enjoy the comical back-and-forth and the timing of their exchanges.
SatoFuru: ‘Again, That Day’ VersionKumiko Aso, Tokyo 03

The piece that expresses how Satofull has become a part of everyday life is the “Again, That Day” segment.
In the story, Kumiko Aso and the members of Tokyo 03 are gathered around a hot pot.
When Akihiro Kakuta is asked what day he broke up with his girlfriend, he answers, “Satofull Day.” However, he can’t remember which date that actually was.
The idea is that Satofull has become so familiar that he instinctively says “Satofull Day.” By the way, “Satofull Day” refers to the campaign days that fall on dates containing a 3 or an 8.
