Ayrton Senna’s Honda (McLaren Honda MP4/5)

This is the sound of the legendary F1 driver Ayrton Senna driving the McLaren Honda MP4/5.
A heated battle between Ferrari’s Prost and McLaren Honda’s Senna.
It was an era when all of Japan was excited about the F1 Grand Prix at Suzuka.
American car (1970s V8 engine)

This is the sound of classic American cars.
It’s the very sound that matches the image of America—big and powerful.
Most of it comes from V8 (V-type eight-cylinder) engines.
It’s the sound of an era in America that was big, strong, free, and cool.
Alfa Romeo (156 V6 engine)

An Italian car, Alfa Romeo, with a V6 engine.
Alfa Romeo no longer offers V6 engines now, but among enthusiasts they’re popular for their beautiful exhaust note.
The high-pitched, powerful sound is said to resemble Ferrari’s in F1.
Dump (Mitsubishi Fuso Super Great dump truck)

The dump truck everyone knows—it’s the quintessential working vehicle.
When I was a child, I often saw dump trucks and bulldozers at construction sites.
I can still hear the sound of a dump truck loaded with soil tilting its bed to unload.
You can just picture that powerful, dependable dump truck, can’t you?
Truck guy (split manifold muffler)

Even among the trucks that support the same logistics, there are quite a few that look a bit rough.
They rumble with a distinctive exhaust sound.
That sound comes from an exhaust modification called “mani-wari” (manifold split).
Please try to keep the noise from getting too loud.
Nissan GT-R

This is the Nissan GT-R, said to be the fastest domestically produced car currently on the market.
It doesn’t usually run that fast anywhere other than on circuits in Japan, but it’s an incredible Japanese sports car—practically a racing car built for the track.
