How about making a ring toss game you can use at parties? Using colored construction paper, you’ll make a Christmas tree and hats as the targets, plus the rings.
First, to make the tree, prepare a square sheet of origami paper and fold it in half to make a rectangle, aligning the left and right edges.
Next, open the fold, then fold the two bottom corners in toward the center.
Fold the new edges so they overlap at the center, tuck in any excess paper, and shape it into an isosceles triangle to finish.
The hat is made the same way, so decorate it with stickers or pom-poms to complete it.
For the rings, take two strips of construction paper, fold each in half lengthwise, twist them together into one strip, and then connect the ends to form a circle.
Hanging type using beads! Pinecone tree
Here’s a handmade pinecone tree idea that radiates chandelier-like glamour when hung.
Simply glue your favorite beads onto a pinecone for decoration, drill a hole in the base, and attach a screw eye—it’s very easy to make.
You can use the pinecone as is or paint it with acrylics.
Choose any beads you like and decorate freely.
Embellishing the hanging base with beads or ribbon makes it even more festive.
Even without attaching a screw eye and just displaying it as is, it looks adorably like a sweet treat!

Let’s enjoy curling with a Christmas tree–themed sheet! To make the sheet, connect pieces of construction paper to create a large base, then glue colored construction paper on top to form a tree.
Write point values on the tree’s tiers and ornaments, and draw a starting line at the base of the tree.
For the stones, attach colored construction paper to plastic bottle caps.
Once the sheet and stones are ready, try playing! Flick the stones with your finger on the sheet—if they stop on a scoring area, you earn points.
Be careful: if a stone slides off the sheet, it’s out.

Glue a larger wood bead, which will be the doll’s head, to the bottom of a pine cone.
Insert wire wrapped with jute twine into the pine cone to create arms and legs, then wrap a scarf knitted from yarn around the neck and put on a hat made from jute.
Draw the face with a pen and glue the figure to a base.
Give the doll a dried flower to hold, and it’s complete.
Since jute has a natural color, adding a brightly colored pom-pom to the tip of the hat will make the doll look more festive.
The doll’s impression will also change depending on the expression you draw and how you have it hold the flower.
Animals of Pine Cones
When it comes to Christmas crafts with pine cones, trees are the classic choice, but you can make many other creations too.
This time, I’ll show you how to make animals.
Place a large pine cone, which will be the body, on a clay base, then use clay and glue to attach a smaller pine cone on top for the head.
Once it’s dry, use felt, clay, beads, and similar materials to create the animal’s face and ears.
Decorate the body with pom-poms.
