Teacher Guessing Quiz
A teacher-guessing game where you use a fully covered teacher or photos of teachers to figure out which teacher it is.
One way is to have the teacher hide their face and body completely, and guess who it is based on various movements and clues.
Another way, when using photos, is to prepare pictures that show parts of a teacher other than their face, and guess which teacher is in the photo using the picture and hints.
Offer fun clues and get even closer to the kids than ever before!
Sumo Tournament

Since it’s Children’s Day, how about holding a sumo tournament together? You could have a tournament just for the kids, or maybe the adults could wrestle while the children watch.
It might be a bit of work, but gathering some dirt in an open area to make something like a sumo ring could really liven things up!
Panel theater

A panel theater that packs in all the good parts of kamishibai, read-alouds, and sing-along play.
These days, you can buy panel theaters for all kinds of stories, but how about making one by hand using familiar materials and putting on a show? Since it’s for Children’s Day, it might be nice to feature carp streamers, samurai helmets, and kashiwa-mochi and present an original story.
You can hand-draw the panels, or search online for illustration materials, print them out, and use them for a more polished look.
sports day

A sports day helps build a sense of unity among children attending kindergartens and nursery schools and gives them opportunities to be active.
To avoid crowding school events into the same period, it is often held in spring.
There are many events children can enjoy, such as ball-toss games, relays, and dances.
It can also be combined with other occasions, like Children’s Day.
By dividing into teams and participating, children can experience the joy of working together and the fun of physical activity.
Why not consider holding a sports day in May, when the weather is pleasant for outdoor activities?
Choral Song “Koinobori”

The children’s song “Koinobori,” which everyone has sung at least once in childhood, was first included in the music textbook “Jinjō Shōgaku Shōka: For Fifth Grade” used in 1913, and was sung as a Ministry of Education song.
The lyricist is unknown, and the composer was Ryūtarō Hirota, a musician from Kōchi Prefecture.
The lyrics are based on the Chinese legend “Tōryūmon” (the Dragon Gate), and the song portrays a carp vigorously climbing a waterfall to become a dragon.
The melody is simple, so once you remember the lyrics, you can sing it right away.
Let’s all sing it together on Children’s Day!

Curling Bingo Game
https://www.tiktok.com/@motoseisakujo/video/7491625674868821256Make it with paper cups! Here’s an idea for a curling bingo game.
Curling is the sport where you slide heavy stones across an ice rink and try to place them as close as possible to the center of a target area called the house to score points, right? This time, let’s use paper cups as the stones and set the house as a 3×3 grid to enjoy a bingo-style game.
Split into two teams and, like tic-tac-toe, adjust your force and control your direction to line up three in a row vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.
Target practice with a candy box

Let’s make and play! Here are some ideas for a target-shooting game using candy boxes.
Target games are one of those corners that really excite kids, right? This time, let’s try making one with candy boxes.
You’ll need empty candy boxes, a stapler, rubber bands, and double-sided tape or regular tape.
It seems you can even make a rubber band gun and a festival-style headband out of empty candy boxes, so give it a try! For the targets, just line up the candy boxes and assign point values to each—easy to set up and play.
