Paper embroidery Christmas card

Here’s an idea for a Christmas card made with paper embroidery.
Since you’ll use an awl to make holes and a needle for stitching, please handle them with care.
First, draw a Christmas tree on the card using only straight lines.
You can draw the tree’s foliage as triangles, or you can sketch it to resemble snowflakes like in this idea.
Once the illustration is ready, use the awl to punch holes where the needle will pass, then stitch with your favorite embroidery thread.
If you’re concerned about the threads showing on the back, layer another piece of card on the reverse side and glue it in place.
Wool felt ornament

If you’re looking for a Christmas craft that you can take your time with, why not try making needle-felted wool ornaments? It does take time, but the process is simply poking wool felt with a felting needle.
It’s easy, so beginners are welcome to give it a try.
In this idea, we introduce how to make a star, snowman, tree, and reindeer.
Since the star has a more complex shape, try using a mold to make it.
Once you get the hang of it, try creating any motif you like.

Introducing a cute ornament where sequins shake and shimmer inside a snowman’s belly.
Prepare two pieces of lace paper, and cut out the center of one.
Put sequins into a clear bag, seal it, and shape it so it doesn’t stick out beyond the lace paper.
Attach the bag to the lace paper with the cut-out center, then layer and stick the other lace paper on top.
Now the snowman’s body is complete.
Next, glue on the snowman’s head, scarf, and hat made from construction paper, and draw the face with crayons or a pen.
Finally, attach a looped string to the back, and your ornament is finished.

Snow globes are beautiful, like capturing a silver world inside.
Here’s a snow globe you can make to use as an ornament or wall decoration.
For the dome, use a clear cup with a lid.
Stick double-sided tape to part of the inside of the container and attach some white cotton.
Add an appropriate amount of foam beads to evoke falling snow, then close it with the lid decorated with Christmas-themed stickers.
Glue a chenille stem (pipe cleaner) all the way around the inner edge of the lid.
At this point, make sure to fasten the container and lid together so they don’t come apart.
Finish by adding a decorative ribbon and a string for hanging.
Try changing the stickers and pipe cleaner colors to create your favorite look.
Christmas lights made from paper cups
https://www.tiktok.com/@chooobo2/video/7436354141355658513When you shine a light, the picture appears! Here’s a fun paper cup light.
First, cut a clear file to match the size of the paper cup’s rim.
Draw any motif you like, such as a Christmas tree or Santa Claus.
Place the clear file with your drawing over a paper cup with the bottom cut out, cover it with plastic wrap, and secure it with a rubber band and tape.
Your Christmas light is complete! Turn off the room lights, shine a light from the bottom, and point it at a wall.
The picture should appear on the wall.
Puni Puni Snow Globe

Here’s a squishy snow globe craft idea with an irresistibly touchable feel.
Prepare construction paper, a small sealable clear bag, liquid laundry glue, sequins, and washi tape.
First, cut the construction paper into a rectangle and fold it in half.
Cut a circular window in the center of the left side so you can see through it, and stick cute stickers on the inside of the opposite side.
Put the liquid glue and sequins into the bag, squeeze out the air, and seal it.
Make sure to close it securely—use tape on top if needed—so the glue won’t leak.
Attach the bag to the back of the cutout window, and stick a snow globe base on the front.
Decorate any empty spaces to make it cute.
Finally, apply washi tape around the edges of the construction paper, and you’re done!
Christmas swag

A swag is a bundle of flowers or plants displayed on a wall or door; the word comes from German and means wall decoration.
Let’s make a swag that’s perfect for creating a Christmas atmosphere in your room.
First, place gold branches on top of fir branches and secure them together with poinsettias.
Next, gather a wide ribbon with wire and attach it beneath the poinsettias.
Use a glue gun to affix ball-shaped ornaments to the fir branches, and add natural materials like small pinecones to finish.
For a neat look, wrap the handle area with a ribbon lined with double-sided tape.
