How to Make a Pinecone Tree – Hanging Type with Beads ❤︎ How to make Pinecone Tree / beads candle / hung ❤︎ #421
Hanging type using beads! Pinecone tree

Here’s a handmade pinecone tree idea that radiates chandelier-like glamour when hung.

Simply glue your favorite beads onto a pinecone for decoration, drill a hole in the base, and attach a screw eye—it’s very easy to make.

You can use the pinecone as is or paint it with acrylics.

Choose any beads you like and decorate freely.

Embellishing the hanging base with beads or ribbon makes it even more festive.

Even without attaching a screw eye and just displaying it as is, it looks adorably like a sweet treat!

Cute little doll made of a pine cone

I tried making a cute little doll out of a pine cone.
Cute little doll made of a pine cone

Glue a larger wood bead, which will be the doll’s head, to the bottom of a pine cone.

Insert wire wrapped with jute twine into the pine cone to create arms and legs, then wrap a scarf knitted from yarn around the neck and put on a hat made from jute.

Draw the face with a pen and glue the figure to a base.

Give the doll a dried flower to hold, and it’s complete.

Since jute has a natural color, adding a brightly colored pom-pom to the tip of the hat will make the doll look more festive.

The doll’s impression will also change depending on the expression you draw and how you have it hold the flower.

Animals of Pine Cones

Handmade craft: animals made from pine cones
Animals of Pine Cones

When it comes to Christmas crafts with pine cones, trees are the classic choice, but you can make many other creations too.

This time, I’ll show you how to make animals.

Place a large pine cone, which will be the body, on a clay base, then use clay and glue to attach a smaller pine cone on top for the head.

Once it’s dry, use felt, clay, beads, and similar materials to create the animal’s face and ears.

Decorate the body with pom-poms.

Instructions for making a tree and Santa Claus are also included, so give them a try if you like.

Here are some DIY Christmas decoration ideas using pine cones and acorns you can pick up on a walk.

Be sure to sterilize the pine cones and acorns in boiling water before using them.

Paint the pine cones in any colors you like, decorate them with beads, pom-poms, pipe cleaners, and ribbon flowers, then glue them onto a coaster to serve as the base.

Next, color the acorns with markers to make Santa and a reindeer.

For the reindeer’s antlers, cut them out of origami paper with scissors.

Glue Santa and the reindeer onto the base, fill any gaps with cotton, and you’re done!

Make it with origami! Pinecone wreath

It’s an idea for a wreath made not with real pinecones, but with pinecones crafted from origami.

First, crumple the origami paper once to add wrinkles and texture.

Then cut it in half, glue the pieces so they form a wide rectangle, and fold it in half so the top and bottom edges overlap.

Make fine slits along the looped edge, then roll it up tightly to complete the pinecone.

Make the leaves and red berries from origami as well.

Finally, attach the leaves to a wreath base made from thick cardstock, and decorate it with the pinecones and red berries to finish.

An advent calendar made with DAISO Petit Blocks 🎄💓 Perfect for my daughter who loves building ♡ I made it inspired by a post from @Suu 🐒 Home Play/Early Learning/Montessori ☺️🎄💓Advent calendar

When it comes to advent calendars, it’s standard to have a little cute treat each day, but how about making it mini-sized building blocks instead? Using 100-yen store mini blocks is an easy option, but be sure to choose a set appropriate for the child’s age! First, separate the blocks needed for each step of the build, and put them into small zippered storage bags.

If possible, copy the instruction sheet, cut it into steps, and include the relevant part with each bag—this will enhance the excitement of “I wonder what it will be?” On the final day, you could make it special by adding a message card and having them search for a treasure filled with sweets!

Easy! How to Make an Advent Calendar

When you want to make an advent calendar, it often overlaps with the busy season leading up to the end of the year.

So here are some ideas for an advent calendar you can make easily.

Prepare small bags, stick date labels on them, and put the contents inside.

Close the opening, punch a hole, thread a string through, and you’re done! The key is to close the bag so it forms a three-dimensional triangle.

If the design feels a bit plain, try decorating with Christmas stickers.

You can display them however you like, but hanging them with string makes them perfect as Christmas ornaments, too.
