Christmas crafts using paper cups (11–20)
Advent calendar
Speaking of Christmas, many people look forward to Advent calendars! Here, we’ll show you a simple way to make one.
You’ll need 25 paper cups, a backing board to stick the cups on, glue or double-sided tape, and number stickers.
To make it, put the number stickers on the paper cups, then use glue or double-sided tape to attach the cups to the backing board—that’s it! You can easily create your own number stickers by downloading free materials and printing them on label paper.
Try making different kinds of stickers and have fun with it!
sledding toy

Let me introduce a sled toy you can make with paper cups! The materials are: paper cups, colored construction paper or origami paper, two popsicle sticks, writing tools, and wood glue.
Here’s how to make it: First, cut the paper cup into the shape of a sled.
Don’t throw away the leftover piece—you’ll use it too.
Shape the paper cup into a sled and glue on the popsicle sticks.
Cut out the bottom of the leftover cup, draw a picture of Santa Claus on it, and cut around the drawing.
After coloring it, secure it with tape and attach it to the sled.
Wrap acorns or similar small items in colored cellophane and stick the bundle behind Santa.
Finally, decorate the sled with stickers or washi tape, and you’re done!
sparkly watch

I’ll show you how to make a cute Christmas wristwatch out of a paper cup! You’ll need a paper cup with Christmas illustrations, decorative stickers, pipe cleaners, rubber bands, scissors, a craft knife, a hole punch, and a stapler.
First, cut the side of the paper cup with scissors to create the watch strap.
Use a craft knife for any parts that are hard to cut.
Next, stick stickers on the bottom of the cup to make the watch face.
Once the watch face is ready, fold the end of the strap, thread a rubber band through it, and staple it in place—that’s it! Try finding a cute paper cup and give it a go.
Christmas hanging ornaments

Here’s how to make a Christmas hanging decoration using paper cups and straws! You’ll need paper cups, origami paper, colored straws, round stickers, plastic cord, an awl, scissors, glue, and cellophane tape.
First, use the origami paper to make Santa’s face and hat.
Attach them to a paper cup and make a hole in the bottom.
Next, let’s make a reindeer.
Poke holes in a paper cup and use straws to create the antlers.
After the reindeer, make a snowman.
For the snowman, stick round stickers on a paper cup to make the face, then poke holes and insert straws to make the arms.
Once you’ve made holes in the bottoms of the reindeer and snowman cups as well, cut the colored straws into small pieces to make beads.
Thread the beads onto the cord while connecting Santa, the reindeer, and the snowman, and you’re done!
cake

I’ll show you how to make a paper cup cake! You’ll need paper cups, scissors, construction paper, double-sided tape, glue, tissue paper, and decorative materials like washi tape or felt balls.
First, use a paper cup as a template and cut a circle out of the construction paper with scissors.
Next, cut about 3 cm off from the rim of the paper cup.
Apply double-sided tape around the edge of the cut-out circle.
Fold a sheet of tissue paper and place it in the bottom of the paper cup, then put the construction paper circle on top and stick it down.
This will be the cream part of the cake, so finish by decorating your cake with washi tape, felt balls, and any other decorations you like!
