A cloudy night sky with a forecast of rain.SHISHAMO

This is a song by SHISHAMO, a girls’ rock band hugely popular especially among younger generations.
Their songs are particularly appealing for lyrics that resonate with many young women, and the one singing them is Asako Miyazaki.
Her voice, which also has a touch of cuteness, is truly lovely, isn’t it? If you sing these straightforward lyrics while keeping in mind her simple and pure vocal style, it’s sure to strike a chord with the men listening.
I think there are many men who like this kind of gentle, pure-sounding voice.

Dream Out Loud feat. ØZI (Prod. KM)SKY-HI

“Dream Out Loud” is a digital single released in May 2023 by SKY-HI, a rapper who is also active as a member of AAA.
It was written specifically as a commercial song for the charcoal coffee brand C COFFEE.
Featuring Taiwanese artist ØZI as a guest collaborator, the music video was also filmed in Taiwan.
At the Yoyogi National Gymnasium show on the arena tour held just before the release, ØZI made a surprise appearance and energized the stage.
Footage of the performance is available on YouTube, so be sure to check it out!
Drawing daysSPLAY

A song used as the opening theme for the TV anime “Katekyo Hitman Reborn!” Sung over a powerful band sound, it conveys a strong resolve to “keep moving forward no matter how tough it gets.” If you’re feeling weighed down by hardships or sadness and want to shut yourself away, please give this song a listen.
Doping DanceSTEAKA

I’m hooked on the crisp melody, the rhyming lyrics, and the punchy electronic sounds! This track by STEAKA, a Vocaloid producer known for their cutting-edge musicality, was released in 2022.
It’s a stylish piece where hardcore synth sounds pair perfectly with Hatsune Miku’s razor-sharp vocals.
It may sound like a cool, steady melody line, but you’ll find it feels passionate when you sing it.
The difficulty level is quite high… which is exactly why it’s worth the challenge!
Dog FightSABBRABELLS

Formed in the early 1980s, the Japanese heavy metal band SABBRABELLS is known for a sound heavily influenced by Black Sabbath.
With demonic costumes and lyrics, as well as powerful, dramatic songs, they enjoyed such popularity that in 1986 they were dubbed titles like “The Emperor of Meguro Rock-May-Kan” and “The Last Big Name of the Indies.” They made their major-label debut on King Records and released the album SAILING ON THE REVENGE.
Their live album LIVE!! was also well received, but the band disbanded in 1987 after releasing only three albums.
In 2015, they reunited for a limited time and returned to the stage for the first time in about 30 years.
They’re a band that not only fans of ’80s heavy metal but anyone interested in the Japanese music scene should definitely check out.
Drift ApartSailing Before The Wind

Sailing Before The Wind operates in a unique style centered around bassist Bitoku, with vocals, guitar, and drums performed by live members.
Perhaps thanks to this approach, their songs are marked by a relentless commitment to structural beauty.
From technically intricate guitar riffs meticulously crafted down to the stereo panning, to bass drum patterns that suggest djent-like complexity without ever becoming mechanical, their compositions exude an almost aesthetic philosophy—one listen is enough to get many listeners hooked.
At all times.Scott Murphy

It’s surprising to learn that the American rock musician Scott Murphy covered it, too.
His unique arrangement is sprinkled throughout to the very end, and it makes you go, “Oh?” It’s a fresh, gentle kind of rock—a cover that even people who aren’t into rock can enjoy.
It might even serve as a gateway to Western music.
