Baron's Horn

An important item in Dragon Quest IV, it has the power to summon the Wagon. If used on the field before entering Death Mountain—the climax of the story—it calls back the separated wagon so the entire party can take on the final battle together. In the remake, it can also be used during combat: allies’ horses may charge in to help, scattering the monsters.

Flora

She is the daughter of Ludman, a wealthy man from the town of Salabona, and a gentle, refined woman known for her long blue hair that reaches her waist and the large pink ribbon that ties it. She falls in love with the protagonist at first sight and becomes one of the potential brides in the marriage event that occurs during the game. If you marry her, you gain benefits such as being able to stay for free at her father Ludman’s mansion and receiving item gifts along the journey, and the children’s hair will also be blue, inherited from their mother.

Chamorro

He is depicted as a small boy wearing glasses, dressed in a yellow robe, a distinctive hat, and a purple cloth resembling a kesa. He became the first glasses-wearing character among the series’ companion characters. At first, he tries to turn away the protagonists who have come to borrow the “Divine Ship,” calling them outsiders, but with help from Chamoro, who has received a divine oracle, they are allowed to borrow the ship. Chamoro himself also joins the party, saying he wants to witness the fate of the world.

wolf

Gabo is a character from Dragon Quest VII who was originally a wolf but was transformed into the form of a human boy by a certain monster. Among wolves, he was a special one—a white wolf pup who helped people in need.

Topo

The name of the mouse in the protagonist’s pocket is “Topo.” It plays an active role in various scenes throughout the story and can even be controlled during certain events.
