A Whole New WorldAlan Menken
Disney’s Aladdin—recently remade as a live-action film—is probably familiar even to younger audiences.
“A Whole New World” is known as the theme song from Aladdin.
As for this piece’s difficulty, it feels suitable for beginners approaching the lower end of intermediate, rather than complete novices.
Depending on the sheet music, the difficulty can increase, but it still wouldn’t be considered particularly hard.
The performance in the video is challenging for absolute beginners, so if you’re going to work on it, choose a simpler arrangement.
Beauty and the BeastAlan Menken
Alan Menken, who composed the theme song for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, also wrote the classic Disney song A Whole New World.
A key feature of this piece is its beautiful melody that evokes the feeling of unison.
The video’s difficulty may be a bit challenging for absolute beginners, but there are simpler sheet music versions available.
If you’ve just started, try putting care into choosing the right score first.

The accompaniment is very simple, and most people can get it into shape within a week.
While being able to play this piece doesn’t mean you’ll immediately be able to play others, it does serve as good exercise for the left hand, so absolute beginners might want to start with this piece for the time being.

The Four Seasons, the signature work of the Baroque-era composer Antonio Vivaldi.

1, Spring, is a charming piece with a bright, warm atmosphere that evokes the arrival of spring, and it is used in a variety of contexts, including TV commercials.
Since it was originally an orchestral work, piano scores vary greatly in feel and difficulty depending on the arrangement.
The version introduced here is a very simple arrangement, so it may sound a bit sparse…

“Danny Boy,” a masterpiece set to the melody of the Irish folk tune known as “Londonderry Air,” features poignant lyrics said to depict a mother’s feelings as she sends her son off to war.
Today, it is not only sung with lyrics but also performed on a variety of instruments and loved around the world.
Because the piece is very slow and gentle, even beginners at the piano can calmly follow the notes as they play.
Once you feel more comfortable with your hands, try adding the pedal so the melody and accompaniment connect smoothly without breaking.
