Comedian / gags (21–30)
Impersonation Medley of the Godless Month

There are many impressionists out there, but KANNAZUKI has a wide repertoire and his impressions are so accurate that he’s popular and well-liked by both kids and adults.
How about doing a full-on impression of KANNAZUKI’s repertoire? It would be like an impression of an impression, but you could pick a few that seem doable from his many go-tos—like Yosui Inoue, TUBE’s Maeda, pro wrestler Keiji Mutoh, Chiharu Matsuyama, and others—and try performing them as a medley.
PERFECT HUMANRADIO FISH

RADIO FISH, who also performed at the Kohaku Uta Gassen, have become a staple for shows and entertainment.
With “PERFECT HUMAN,” the two members of Oriental Radio became known again and grew even more popular.
The distinctive dance gets viewers joining in and firing up the crowd!
Rararai Gymnastics

Fujisaki Market became a hit with the “Lalalalai” song and the exercises that go with it, didn’t they? There are a few versions of the “Lalalalai Gymnastics,” and they’re still funny even now.
Since it’s easy to turn everyday things into material, doing an impression using the Lalalalai Gymnastics with some inside jokes at a party would probably be a big hit.
Osamu-chan

In 1981, amid the manzai comedy boom, “The Bonchi” stood out as an exceptionally popular duo.
Even back then, Osamu’s signature ‘pause’ routine was his trademark, and to this day, his long, drawn-out “Oh, oh, oh…” followed by “It’s Osamu-chan!” could practically be called an Osaka specialty.
The key is not to be shy—go big with the over-the-top reactions.
Anime characters (1–10)
Pikachu

Pikachu is hugely popular not only among kids but also adults.
It even got a live-action Hollywood movie, you know—Pikachu.
Its yellow, fluffy appearance is just so cute.
Let’s try doing a Pikachu impression! Basically, Pikachu only says its own name, “Pikachu,” and “Pika.” No matter what someone says to you, you can reply with those two words, so it might be surprisingly versatile (lol).
Olaf

The White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland actually has a name: Nivens McTwisp.
Sometimes side characters become just as popular as the leads, don’t they? In Frozen, the reindeer Sven and the snowman Olaf are hugely popular with not only kids but adults, too.
If you speak a little sleepily, with a languid tone yet a slightly rapid pace, you’ll get much closer to sounding like Olaf.
And if you have a carrot, it could stand in for Olaf’s nose! Perfect for a quick party trick.
Mr. Anago

Anago-san, the hugely popular character from Sazae-san, is great for impressions.
His deep, gravelly voice really stands out.
People tend to think it’s difficult, but precisely because the voice is so distinctive, it’s actually pretty easy to imitate—making him a surprisingly forgiving character.
It could be funny even if a woman tries it! Whether or not it sounds spot-on, as long as you’re having fun, it’s sure to liven things up.
Just saying Anago-san’s catchphrase, “Fuguta-kun,” makes a big impact.
Give it some practice and consider adding it to your impression repertoire!
Mickey Mouse

The most famous Disney character? Let’s try doing a Mickey Mouse impression! Speaking of Mickey Mouse, he’s a character everyone knows—from little kids to adults—so it’s easy to perform.
You might think it’s hard for men because the voice is high, but it’s fine once you get the hang of it.
Practice a lot and liven up dinners and gatherings!
Tarao Fuguta

A character that anyone, regardless of gender, can try is Tara-chan from Sazae-san.
Use a high, coddling tone and a childlike voice, and saying things like “It is ___” will almost complete it! Unlike Katsuō-kun’s famous line “That’s not fair, sis,” there isn’t a signature quote, but if you slightly stretch the ending of your words, anything you say will sound like Tara-chan.
It’s also fun to have him say lines he definitely wouldn’t, with a bit of bite, like “The interest rate on my loan went up and life is tough,” or “I’ll make sure that manager never sets foot in the office again, it is.”
Medama-oyaji

It’s an impression of quick-fire mimicry.
The classic manga GeGeGe no Kitaro by master Shigeru Mizuki.
I’m taking on the challenge of that uniquely high-pitched voice of Medama-oyaji, Kitaro’s father! For many adults, Medama-oyaji’s voice is strongly associated with Isamu Tanonaka, but since 2018 it’s been performed by Masako Nozawa, famous for voicing Goku in Dragon Ball.
Which means if you can do a Goku impression, you can do a Medama-oyaji impression too.
By the way, Nozawa once played Kitaro as well.
Maybe she could do a parent-child duet all by herself?
