Simple card magic. Tricks you can do with self-working methods or a few techniques (21–30)
A Triumph where, after the hearts are aligned in order, the selected card is revealed.
This is a magic trick where you set aside one card from the deck, shuffle the deck so the face-up and face-down orientations are mixed, and after casting a spell, only the hearts turn face up.
From that arrangement, the selected card is predicted.
Beforehand, you place a complete set of A through K of the same suit as the card you want the spectator to choose into the box, and you control the order by how you stack and mix the packets.
When having the spectator choose a card, secretly add the top card on top of their choice, then divide the deck into four piles and shuffle.
If you mix the cards while keeping track of their orientations so that only the set cards end up face up, you’re done.
Pay careful attention to how you cover with your hands during the selection and how you display the deck during the shuffles.
Three-card Monte
Let me introduce a magic trick called the Three-Card Monte that uses just three cards! After stacking the cards with the winning card in the middle, use a technique called a break to create a small gap between the bottom card and the middle card.
Next, perform a double lift by taking the top two cards as one from that gap and turning them over, making it look like the top card is the winning card.
Then, once again handle two cards as one and turn them face down, and this time place only the top card on the table.
It will appear as though you’ve placed the winning card, but in reality the winning card is still in the packet.

As long as you memorize the steps, anyone—from young children to quite elderly folks—can perform it.

A sandwich card trick is a magic effect where you find the spectator’s chosen card by trapping it between two Jokers.

A prediction magic trick you can do by remembering just one card
You know those scary predictions like “A massive tsunami will hit Japan on such-and-such a date!” right? I don’t really believe them, but to be honest, I actually find those kinds of predictions frightening.
Setting those scary prophecies aside, here’s a simple prediction magic trick anyone can do.
Using the exact number of cards your spectator casually chooses, you land precisely on a single card—and what a wonder, it turns out to be the card that was predicted in advance! As long as you remember one card when you spread and display the deck, anyone can perform it.

A magic trick where the cards penetrate each other
Here’s an introduction to a magic trick where two cards seem to pass through each other.
It’s puzzling to see one card penetrate another when the card doesn’t look cut, right? Since it’s magic, of course the card is actually cut.
Take one card and cut it across at about one-third of its length.
Attach the cut pieces to a clear plastic sheet the same size as a card.
For the wider piece, stick it down leaving the center section unglued.
Then, when you slide another card through, it looks like it’s penetrating.
Making it appear as though the card isn’t cut is an important magician’s tip.
Super easy card prediction you can do without any technique
If you want to amaze your audience without difficult techniques, the “Super Easy Card Reveal” is perfect.
You can use any deck of playing cards.
Just be sure to remove the jokers so you have 50 cards—that’s the key.
First, have a spectator choose a card and remember it.
While they do, secretly split the deck exactly in half.
Once that setup is done, the trick practically runs itself! Divide the deck into four piles, ask which pile their card was in, and use that pile to divide again.
By repeatedly narrowing down and keeping only the central card, after a few rounds the final remaining card astonishingly turns out to be the spectator’s original selection! Follow the steps and you can’t fail.
