A card-guessing trick where you think they’re off, but they nail it

A lovely magic trick where you think it’s a miss, but a twist awaits at the end.

You riffle the deck, ask the spectator to say “Stop!!,” and have them choose a card.

They memorize it, return it to the deck, and you shuffle.

Then the spectator shuffles as well.

At this point, nobody should know where the selected card is, but you say, “I think it’s within the top 15 cards,” and deal the top 15 cards from the deck onto the table in three rows of five.

You then turn them over one by one, asking, “Is this your card?” but it never appears.

However, after you’ve turned over the fourth card, you look at the table and see that the remaining face-down cards form the shape of the Ten of Hearts.

It seems like mind reading, but the method is simple: the initially selected Ten of Hearts was forced using a technique called a force.

You place the Ten of Hearts on top of the deck beforehand and subtly extract it after riffing the cards.

It’s a simple technique that produces a highly visual and impressive effect.

A self-working trick where a mate card appears

[Revealed] The grand prize of self-working magic I recently found that you can do without any practice. [Self-Working Magic]
A self-working trick where a mate card appears

A “mate card” refers to a pair of cards with the same value and color, such as the Ace of Hearts and the Ace of Diamonds, or the Six of Clubs and the Six of Spades.

In this trick, the key is to pre-arrange about six or seven mate pairs at the top and bottom of the deck.

During performance, you split the deck into two packets.

After having the spectator select a card from the first packet, the mate of the chosen card appears from a corresponding number of cards in the other packet.

This is a self-working trick that delivers a two-phase effect, allowing the phenomenon to happen a second time.

The procedure is a bit intricate and can be tough to memorize, but once you can perform it smoothly, it will become a rock-solid staple in your repertoire.

Stab a pencil into a paper bag and guess the card they chose.

[Paper Bag Magic Collection] Flashy tricks kids will love! Perfect for nursery school birthday parties, recitals, and fun events! Six amazing yet simple routines [with explanations included]
Stab a pencil into a paper bag and guess the card they chose.

You have someone pick a playing card and remember it, then return it to the deck and shuffle.

Next, you toss the cards loosely into a paper bag and stab a pencil into the bag—but amazingly, the only card the pencil pierces is the chosen one! The secret is a shuffling technique and a bag with one side double-layered.

First, shuffle so that the chosen card ends up on top.

Then, when you put the cards into the bag, drop just that card into the gap of the double-layered side.

Once you know it, it’s a simple trick! It’s easier if you slightly offset the chosen card as you put it into the bag.

The four selected cards all turn into Aces.

Super easy! It changes to A! Includes the reveal of the trick!
The four selected cards all turn into Aces.

It’s a magic trick where four freely chosen cards are returned to the deck, and when they’re turned face up, all four have astonishingly changed into Aces.

Because four cards change at once, it’s a very visual trick, yet surprisingly easy to do.

The method is to secretly set four Aces on the bottom of the deck beforehand.

After the selections are shown, you quietly add the four bottom Aces on top of the selected cards, then place that packet onto the top of the deck.

The only technique used is a break, which holds a gap with the little finger, so even beginners in card magic should give it a try.

The chosen card penetrates into the bag.

Revealing the secret of the penetration magic trick
The chosen card penetrates into the bag.

It’s a magic trick where the selected card ends up inside a bag after you place the deck on top of it! After having someone choose a card, you put it back into the deck and shuffle, but there’s one crucial point here: you need to control the selected card to the bottom.

Once you can do that, the rest is easy.

The bag has been pre-moistened, so when you place the deck on top of it, only the bottom card sticks to the bag.

Then, if you lift the bag so the card faces toward you, it looks as if the card has gone into the bag.

Magic where a card floats in midair

[Revealed] Explaining the mechanism behind levitation #shorts
Magic where a card floats in midair

I’ll introduce a curious yet simple card magic trick where a playing card appears to float.

In this trick, you attach a thin stick to the card and simply hold it under your arm.

Because the mechanism is simple, practice is essential.

The key is making it truly look like it’s floating.

It’s also a good idea to practice in front of a mirror to ensure the card always faces forward.

It can be fun to develop your own techniques, too, and if you practice regularly, it might be a hit when you suddenly need a quick party trick.

This is a card trick titled “Convenient Magic,” in which you correctly identify a card chosen by a spectator.

The charm of this trick is that it doesn’t require pre-setting the order of the deck or using difficult sleights, so even beginners can give it a try.

First, have the spectator think of any number from 1 to 20, then remember the card that appears when you turn over that many cards from the top of the deck.

After that, you make various attempts to find the card—but the remembered card doesn’t show up… or so it seems.

Suddenly, the chosen card appears at the very top of the deck that was set aside.

Although this trick creates a very mysterious impression, it’s actually guaranteed to work as long as you grasp a few very simple points and follow the explanation steps as instructed.

It’s highly recommended for beginners, so give it a try!
