First, prepare four sheets of construction paper cut to 8 cm × 8 cm.

Fold each one into a small triangular shape, then make cuts to create petal shapes and unfold them.

Slightly curl the parts that will become petals on all four pieces; on one piece, insert a wire through the center and attach a bead in the middle.

After that, thread the remaining three pieces onto the wire and stack them to complete the carnation.

Attach a ribbon and a message card, and place it inside a paper cup lined with washi paper to finish a tabletop carnation decoration.

After going all the way around once, apply wood glue and insert the construction paper again to secure it firmly.

Stack and glue to your desired height, then let it dry.

Next, prepare colored construction paper 7 cm × 7 cm for the carnation flower, fold it into a small, triangle-like shape, and make cuts so they will become carnation petals.

Unfold it, make deeper cuts, and prepare six sets like this; for some pieces, cut off a few petals.

Then punch a hole in the center, thread them onto wire starting with the pieces that have fewer petals, tidy everything with floral tape, attach the leaf, and you’re done! Even a single bloom looks impressive!

These are carp streamers made with clothespins that are fun to decorate.

First, make a template for the carp streamer and trace it onto construction paper.

Since you’ll be attaching them to a clothespin, prepare two carp streamer pieces for each clothespin.

Once traced, cut along the outline.

Next, apply double-sided tape to both sides of the clothespin.

Mix a small amount of water into some paint and use your finger to add a scale pattern.

After it dries, use round stickers or pens to draw the eyes and patterns, and enjoy decorating.

Peel off the backing of the double-sided tape and attach the carp streamers to the clothespin.

For the base, cut a paper cup to a suitable height and put floral foam inside as a weight.

Insert a chopstick and attach the carp streamer to finish.
