Pontocho
Pontocho is one of Kyoto’s representative geisha districts, located in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City. Along the narrow alley between the Kamo River and Kiyamachi Street, shops line the street, including establishments serving Kyoto cuisine and ones housed in renovated traditional Kyoto townhouses.
