A collection of stylish Vocaloid songs: The moving world of VOCALOID

There are truly countless songs in the VOCALOID scene, but in this article, I’ve put together a selection of especially stylish tracks.

Of course, “stylish” means different things to different people, so I’ve tried to choose from a wide range of genres without drawing sharp boundaries.

So there should definitely be something in the style you like.

Check them all out to the end and find the number that moves your heart.

A special feature on stylish Vocaloid songs: The moving world of VOCALOID (301–310)

XXXmerokuru

XXXmerokuru

It’s an electronic tune that combines glamour and coolness.

“XXX,” created by Vocaloid producer Merokuru, was released in June 2024.

They aimed for a song that MAVE:, the virtual girls’ group from Korea, might sing, and you can certainly feel K-pop elements in the melodic construction.

If you change the settings on YouTube, you can also watch the English version, so definitely check it out if you’re interested.

Still… I’m truly impressed by the breadth of Merokuru’s musicality.

OREMO UTAUAbogado 6

The unique, floating sound image is striking.

Created by Avogado6, this piece is a track released in September 2024.

It uses their self-made UTAU voicebank “Karogado,” with Avogado6 handling the music, visuals, and tuning.

The lyrics are constructed by picking out one character at a time from the Japanese syllabary, resulting in an experimental work that explores the possibilities of voice synthesis.

The world woven by robotic vocals and electronic sounds is mysterious and emotionally stirring.

Highly recommended for those seeking new modes of musical expression.

Ash Phi ClubNiru Kajitsu

Therefore Boiled Fruit “Ash Φ Club” with Flower [Official] - Hi Φ CLUB
Ash Phi ClubNiru Kajitsu

A captivating track by Nirukajitsu, woven from a dreamlike worldview and philosophical messages.

Released in February 2024, it unfolds a fantastical tale in which a scarecrow beckons on the night of a full moon.

The lyrics blur the boundary between reality and unreality, and together with an ear-catching melody, they draw listeners into a unique world.

While it contains horror-like elements, it ultimately delivers a positive message, and you can feel Nirukajitsu’s finesse in that sense of balance.

The MV’s inventive visuals are another highlight—an artwork where musicality and visual imagery fuse beautifully.

Highly recommended for those who want to explore the uncertain values of modern society and the depths of the human mind.

A noonday blaze searing us apartkonnichiwa Tanida-san

Flames of the noonday heat sear us far apart / Hello, Mr. Tanita – Lossy Encoding / Hello Tanitasan
A noonday blaze searing us apartkonnichiwa Tanida-san

An alternative Vocaloid track whose ingenious sound image somehow stirs up a sense of nostalgia.

It’s a song released under Tatsuya Kitani’s Vocaloid producer alias, Konnichiwa Tanita-san, published in August 2025 and included on the compilation album “Eingebrannt.” Its appeal lies in literary lyrics that trace memories of summers that have receded into the distant past, paired with a sound that blends weightless drift and cool poise.

The cruelty of passing time—and, because of it, the precious radiance of each fleeting moment—soaks deeply into the heart.

Give it a listen when you’re in the mood to indulge in a touch of sentimentality.

A Lovely Full-Course of Bubbles / Hatsune Miku & Zundamon
A lovely full-course of bubblesNatsuyama Yotsugi

It’s a catchy track with a hint of danger.

Created by Vocaloid producer Yotsugi Natsuyama, it was released in August 2025 and reached 18th in the TOP 100 at VocaColle 2025 Summer.

The song likens today’s pervasive trends—gossip and hype—to a lavish full-course meal.

Hatsune Miku and Zundamon deliver a provocative performance that feels like luring listeners into a sweet, seductive trap.

Despite its pop sound, the song’s cynical worldview—depicting desire endlessly consumed—is irresistibly compelling.

Confession to the Sisterhaihara memorandum

Right now, the Vocaloid producer Haibara Memory is rapidly gaining attention.

Their style is characterized by a uniquely original, gothic flair.

Among Haibara Memory’s tracks, one that’s especially easy to sing and sure to get the crowd going is “Confess to the Sister.” Despite its gothic atmosphere, it has well-placed moments for excitement, making it perfect for karaoke.

While the melodic range isn’t exactly narrow, the tempo is relatively slow for a Vocaloid song, so overall it’s a piece that’s easy to sing.

Goodbye, MoonYuunosuke × zeroth

Goodbye, Moon / Yunosuke × zeroth feat. Narukami Hime
Goodbye, MoonYuunosuke × zeroth

An ethereal and beautiful electronic tune that feels like it melts into the night sky.

It’s a collaborative work by Yunosuke—known for tracks like “PaⅢ.SENSATION”—and zeroth, who’s active in the club scene, released in August 2025.

It ranked 23rd in the VOCALOID Collection Summer 2025 TOP 100.

The delicate yet club-oriented sound arrangement, born from the fusion of their distinct styles, is simply superb.

This piece is perfect for quiet nights when you want to take time to reflect.

Why not let yourself drift on its waves of sound?
