Heart Cat

[Origami] Heart Cat Message Card
Heart Cat

Here’s how to fold a heart-shaped cat message card from a single sheet of origami paper.

Place the paper color-side down and make crease lines using the gate fold (kannon) method.

Flip it over, then fold the left and right creases inward to meet the center line.

Fold up the two bottom corners so their edges are parallel to the bottom edge.

Turn it over and fold up the bottom so the lower edges align, creating a crease.

Fold up both lower edges to match the horizontal line.

Flip to the front and use the parts that stick out to form the cat’s ears.

Next, turn it to the back, fold down the inner corner on the opposite side, open the inside, and collapse along the crease lines.

Fold down both the upper inner and outer corners.

Fold so the top and bottom edges meet, leaving a white section visible.

Finally, fold the corners into a heart shape—and you’re done!
