Hakuba Festival | Mimasaka UniversityOct 12 (Sun) – 13 (Mon), Okayama Prefecture

Shiraume Festival is held every autumn at Mimasaka University, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2017, with students taking the lead. Each year it welcomes exciting special guests and creates a lively atmosphere. There are also character shows and other events, so families with children can enjoy it together.

Prefectural University of Hiroshima is a public university with its headquarters in Ujina Higashi, Minami Ward, Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, and it has three campuses: Hiroshima, Shobara, and Mihara. The school festival is held separately at each campus. One of them is the Shion Festival at the Hiroshima Campus.

The University of Shimane is a public university headquartered in Nohara-cho, Hamada City, Shimane Prefecture, established in 2000. It aims to serve as a research hub focused on countries around the Sea of Japan. The university consists of three campuses—Hamada, Izumo, and Matsue—and its mascot is Ororin, inspired by the Yamata no Orochi. The school festival at the Hamada Campus is called Kaiyusai.
