Shoryo Festival | Shonan Institute of TechnologySat 10/25 – Sun 10/26, Kanagawa Prefecture

It is said that around 50 years ago, when the university was first established, students began opening their laboratories to the public, which led to the birth of the Shoryo Festival. When participants were recruited on campus, there was a vast pine forest stretching from the university to the sea at the time. A prefab building was set up in a cleared section of that pine grove, and the executive committee was formed there, which is why it was named the Shoryo Festival. The festival also appears to recruit participants for events like flea markets every year. Additionally, there have been past notices asking visitors to refrain from using high-denomination banknotes at the venue on the day, so please keep that in mind if you go.
