Using a technique called the gambler’s cop, you pretend to square the deck while secretly palming cards in the inside of one hand, bring them to your mouth from an angle where the audience can’t see, and then simply spread the cards up and down skillfully.
Card magic can seem low-key, but this one looks impressive even in a somewhat larger space, so it might be a hit at a school festival or similar event.
