The highlight of OUE’s Okusu Festival is the main event held on the final day: the Mister Contest. In addition to the Mister Contest, which has firmly established itself as the festival’s star attraction, this year will also feature the first-ever Miss Contest—so men, keep an eye on that too!

Grape Festival | Tezukayama UniversityNov 1 (Sat) – 2 (Sun), Osaka Prefecture
In addition to the usual live music and dance performances, the Tezukayama Gakuin University festival also features demonstrations of martial arts such as Aikido and stage combat. As for why it’s called the “Grape Festival,” it’s said that the land where the campus now stands used to be covered with vineyards, and the name comes from that history.

Shimotsuki Festival | Kansai Medical UniversityNov 1 (Sat) – 2 (Sun), Osaka Prefecture
At Kansai Medical University’s school festival, there are food stalls run by various clubs and circles, as well as performances on stages both indoors and outdoors—just what you’d expect from a university festival. In addition, in keeping with its identity as a medical university, there are also lectures under the title “Medical Exhibition,” covering topics such as emergency medicine, traditional Chinese medicine (kampo), and community healthcare.

Waten Festival | Yamato UniversityNov 1 (Sat) – 2 (Sun), Osaka Prefecture
This festival, Watamatsuri, was named after the character for “to don/wear” (纏う), taken from Yamato University’s slogan, “Wear your great ambition.” We aim to create an original campus festival unlike any other university’s. You can enjoy performances by top artists and comedy shows featuring Yoshimoto comedians.

Meiko Festival | Osaka University of TourismNov 1 (Sat) – 2 (Sun), Osaka Prefecture
At the Meiko Festival, there’s a lot to enjoy: food stalls run by first- and second-year seminar groups and volunteer organizations, Dream World—a kids’ area featuring super ball scooping and ring toss—and popular attractions like “Chiri-mon,” short for chirimen monsters. There will also be sales of vegetables harvested locally in Senshu.

Kansai University Unified School Festival | Kansai UniversitySat 11/1–Tue 11/4, Osaka Prefecture
This is the university festival of Kansai University, which has around 30,000 students. During the festival, there are live performances, dance showcases, and various events hosted by seminars and student clubs. Among them, music lovers should pay special attention to K.U. ROCK FEVER. Kansai University students engaged in music compete in a tournament format to claim the title of the university’s number one.
