There are many universities in the Kanto area, and during the campus festival seasons in spring and autumn, festivals are held every year with a wide variety of themes and concepts.

These events are packed with highlights, including programs featuring famous artists and comedians, as well as exhibitions and hands-on activities that showcase students’ unique ideas.

Ikoma Festival | Kindai University (Higashi-Osaka Campus)Nov 2 (Sun) – 4 (Tue), Osaka Prefecture

The Ikoma Festival, held at Kindai University’s Higashi-Osaka Campus, is a school festival with a 70-year history. Every year, it features comedy shows and charity concerts, and a portion of the proceeds from the charity concert goods and other sales is donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society. In addition, there are many student-organized events.

Hyakka Ryouran Festival | Senri Kinran UniversityNov 1 (Sat) – 2 (Sun), Osaka Prefecture

This is the Senri Kinran University Hyakka Ryoran Festival. In addition to dance performances, live band shows, and food stalls, there will also be a fireworks display—something unusual for a school festival. It’s the perfect event for anyone who missed out on summer festivals.
