At the Kansai University of Welfare Sciences’ school festival, Miyoba-sai, the main attraction is a costume contest, complemented by stage events, food stalls, and a mobile petting zoo. There are even times when a hero show is held, making it an event that young children can enjoy as well.

Ameyama Festival | Osaka University of Health and Sport SciencesOct 25 (Sat) – 26 (Sun), Osaka Prefecture
At the Ameyama Festival of Osaka University of Health and Sport Sciences, a live concert by famous artists is held every year, creating a highly energetic atmosphere. As it is a sports university, there have also been events in the past such as wheelchair basketball tournaments and futsal and volleyball competitions involving local children. A campus festival packed with so many physically active events sounds like a lot of fun.

Mikuriya Festival | Osaka University of CommerceOct 25 (Sat) – 26 (Sun), Osaka Prefecture
The Mikuriya Festival takes its name from Mikuriya Sakae-cho, where the university is located. In addition to stage events and food stalls, there are also performances by popular artists and street performers. This year, there will also be attractions for children, such as a police motorcycle display and a kickbase tournament.

Chayamachi Festival | Osaka Institute of Technology (Umeda Campus)Sun, 10/19, Osaka Prefecture
The Chayamachi Festival held at Osaka Institute of Technology’s Umeda Campus is still a young event that began in 2017. It’s located right in the city area of Umeda Chayamachi, making it easy to access. The festival gets lively with activities such as puzzle-solving events, bingo tournaments, and casino-themed attractions.

Kuzuha Festival | Shijonawate Gakuen UniversitySat, 10/18, Osaka Prefecture
