There are many universities in the Kanto area, and during the campus festival seasons in spring and autumn, festivals are held every year with a wide variety of themes and concepts.

These events are packed with highlights, including programs featuring famous artists and comedians, as well as exhibitions and hands-on activities that showcase students’ unique ideas.

Osaka Metropolitan University’s “Futaba Festival” is a campus festival held every spring. It features welcome events for new students, a raffle with luxurious prizes, and food stalls, all organized to warmly greet those who enrolled in the spring. It’s nice for first-year students to have such a university-wide event right after they enter.

The Ichō Festival is a university festival held at Osaka University every year from late April to early May. The May Festival held on the Kashiwara Campus of Osaka Kyoiku University is a welcome event for new students that takes place in mid-May. In addition to welcome-event food stalls and live concerts, there are plans such as club exhibitions, film screenings, and dance performances, and a Spring Sports Festival is held around the same time.
