Fireworks made with 8 sheets of origami
@sachimama_asobi Give it a try—it’s easier than you think! Let’s make a fireworks launcher! 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 This year, it seems many places are finally holding fireworks festivals again, which is so exciting! 🥰 Today I made something inspired by a fireworks display. All you need is 8 sheets of origami paper and either a popsicle stick, a drink stirrer, or a disposable chopstick! I used a drink stirrer from DAISO. It might look tricky at first, but it’s actually very simple—definitely give it a try! You can fold all 8 sheets in the same color or mix different colors—pick your favorites and make it your own! The key point is to glue everything carefully and firmly. If the origami pieces and the stirrer are well attached, the fireworks will open up beautifully. 🥰 +—————————————+ I’m Sachi-mama, raising three energetic boys ages 7, 5, and 1. Designs and items unique to summer! Here are some ideas for uchiwa fireworks.
One of the must-have items in summer is the uchiwa (hand fan).
This time, let’s make an even lovelier uchiwa by adding a fireworks design.
You will need three sheets of black origami paper, six half-size sheets of origami paper, scissors, a craft knife, a pencil, tape, and glue or double-sided tape.
These are perfect for events like summer festivals or evening cool-down gatherings, but they’re also great to try as an everyday craft.

Spinning and mysterious! Here’s an idea for fireworks that change shape.
When it comes to making fireworks crafts, many people imagine decorations for the wall, but this time, how about making fireworks you can spin and transform as you play? All you need are eight sheets of origami paper plus glue or double-sided tape.
Create identical parts from the eight sheets and attach them together to complete it! Finishing it in rainbow colors makes it look almost like a kaleidoscope.
It’s a craft that makes you want to keep spinning it around and playing with it.
Fireworks assembled from parts
A calm, refined finish! Here’s an idea for making fireworks by combining separate parts.
It’s a great choice when you want to include a fireworks craft within a Japanese-style decoration.
You’ll need one sheet of black origami paper, one sheet cut to quarter size, and eight sheets cut to sixteenth size.
The key is the step where you assemble the parts after making them, so take your time and proceed carefully.
If you change the colors of the non-black origami, you can enjoy a different atmosphere as well.
Kaleidoscopic Fireworks

Let’s have fun spinning it around! Here’s an idea for fireworks that look like a kaleidoscope.
Real fireworks disappear right away, but the great thing about handmade ones is that you can play with them or display them for a long time.
This time, how about making kaleidoscope-like fireworks that spin round and round? All you need are twelve 15-centimeter square sheets of origami paper.
A rainbow color scheme is nice, but it could also be fun to try your favorite color combinations.
If you make it with smaller origami paper, you might enjoy a different look and feel, too.
Fireworks made by cutting patterns

Let’s try making it with paper you have at home! Here are some ideas for fireworks created by cutting out patterns.
