List of Free-Admission Festivals Nationwide [2026]

This is a music event planned and run by local band members to energize Kagawa Prefecture. Since its start in 2018, it has been held with support from local music lovers, using venues like live houses, shopping arcades, and even rented udon shops. As a free-admission event, it has continued to grow in popularity and attendance. There are also exclusive items available only through crowdfunding, so why not take part and help boost Kagawa’s music scene?

An admission-free event will be held with the theme of uplifting hearts through music in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture, so that a wide range of people can enjoy music. The stage will be energized mainly by artists from Kurume. Since it’s being held in their hometown, every artist will be giving passionate performances you won’t want to miss. There will also be food and drink stalls from popular Kurume eateries, so you can enjoy meals and alcohol. It’s a great event even for those attending an outdoor festival for the first time!

Launched in 2007 under the concept that every form of expression—music, film, painting, and words—serves as our modern-day asylum (a temporary refuge), this event also embodies the desire to foster cultural and personal exchange and to enliven the Sakurazaka area. The venues are spread across 20 locations around Sakurazaka, with some offering free admission.

The cozy, community-driven music festival created by Tama Ward residents began in 2011. It’s held to provide a stage for artists active around Tama Ward and to boost local vitality and交流 through music. Participating artists cover a wide range of genres—jazz, brass band, dance, rock, pop—offering programs that people of all ages can enjoy.
