Songs with titles that start with “Go”

Are there any songs that come to mind when you’re asked for titles that start with “go” (ご)? Titles that begin with a voiced consonant can be hard to recall, but in fact there are plenty of song titles that start with the numeral “5,” or with words like “GO,” “gozen” (morning/a.m.), “gogo” (afternoon/p.m.), or “gomen” (sorry)—all of which make for easy-to-use song titles.

In this article, we’ll introduce songs whose titles start with “go” (ご).

There are many songs with titles that include words like “gozen” and “gogo,” and we’ll highlight hits and well-known tracks among them.

Let’s get started!

I love you five years from nowTEE

TEE is a singer-songwriter from Hiroshima who sparked a bidding war among record labels in 2010 and made a major debut.

As an artist who was already creating buzz before his debut, he has continued to produce major hits since.

Here’s one of his tracks—infused with elements of surf music—that perfectly suits the sea.

I was so captivated by the rich, masculine vocals—so much so that I thought it was the second coming of Kiyoharu from Kuroyume.

This is my favorite track.

This song became their first single to debut in the top 10 on the Oricon weekly chart.

gorgeousTHE YELLOW MONKEY

A song included on the album “Punch Dranker.” It’s also the origin of the stage name of the comedian “Go☆Jasu.” Yoshii himself wanted it to be released as a single, but that didn’t happen, and it was instead used as the B-side to “Hanareru na.”

This is the lead track from the 2009 album PARADOX PARADE.

It’s a song where gentle and intense sounds coexist, evoking GHOST to a tee.

Another highlight is the fusion of the raspy yet melodically graceful vocals with the supporting instrumentation.

Included on the full-length album “GOLDEN TIME,” released in 2014.

It is the album’s title track.

After guitarist Okaniwa, one of the original members, went missing in 2009, the band had continued as a three-piece.

They welcomed Duran, formerly of Rootless, as a new guitarist, and this song was produced with a four-member lineup for the first time in about five years.

With the added guitar, the sound gained more depth, resulting in a fresh, more distinctly rock-like intensity that AFOC hadn’t shown before.

Go mad and markenvy

Formed in 1995.

A band frequently mentioned within the hardcore genre, they’ve earned support not only in Japan but across the world, including the United States and Europe.

While their heavy sound and frequent use of shouts often lead them to be labeled as “screamo” or “post-hardcore,” the band’s greatest appeal lies in their artistry—transcending genre boundaries, drawing from diverse musical influences, and elevating them into a unique worldview.

The beauty that coexists within their intensity is the very essence of emo.

Ghost In The Rainthe HIATUS

This is a track included on the 1st album, “Trash We’d Love.” The song is about a “shut-in crushed by despair,” and its content is meant to give hope to “him.” Whenever I listen to the HIATUS, I often think that the person who serves as the motif for their songs might, perhaps, be Takeshi Hosomi himself.
