This challenge is done in pairs.

One person throws a marshmallow, and the other catches it with chopsticks.

Since the marshmallows are large, people in Japan who use chopsticks regularly should be able to catch them relatively well, but it won’t work unless the two of you are perfectly in sync.

It’s important to keep the throw on a gentle, consistent parabolic arc and to set the landing point where it’s easy to grasp with the chopsticks.

Work together to break the record!

Fastest time to relay 100 liters of water with 100 people using furoshikiNEW!

Introducing a Guinness World Record attempt using furoshiki—versatile cloths that can be used for carrying items, wrapping, and many other situations.

What are we doing? We’re going to carry 100 liters of water with a furoshiki! In this challenge, 100 participants line up side by side, like a bucket brigade, and transport the water using furoshiki.

So, how long will it take to move 100 liters? Since you can’t carry water with an ordinary furoshiki, be sure to use a water-repellent furoshiki for the challenge.

Number of chocolates you can eat with chopsticks in one minuteNEW!

Attempt a Guinness World Record by picking up chocolate with chopsticks! It’s a fun challenge where you get to enjoy tasty chocolate, too.

The chocolate used for this Guinness attempt is fixed as M&M’S, which you’ll spread on a flat plate and pick up with chopsticks.

Because the candy is round and has a hard coating, it’s very difficult to grip.

Before you start, figure out where and at what angle to grab it so it’s less likely to slip.

After the challenge, let’s enjoy the remaining chocolates as well!

Number of cheese strings you can pull apart in one minuteNEW!

This is a Guinness World Records challenge to see how much cheese you can pull apart in one minute.

Just buy peelable string cheese at a supermarket and keep shredding it with your fingers for as long as the time allows, so even kids can give it a try.

However, it’s not allowed to re-shred a piece that’s already been pulled apart once.

Also, any shredded cheese that doesn’t meet the specified length won’t be counted, so be careful.

The key is to focus on speed while pulling it thin and long! When you attempt the challenge, it’s best to do it over a backing sheet where the specified length is visible at a glance.

Number of walnuts cracked with one's butt in 30 secondsNEW!

When you crack walnuts, you use a tool like pliers, right? Because of that, I think everyone has the impression that walnuts are hard.

This challenge is to crack a walnut with your butt.

Since the butt seems soft, you might wonder if it’s even possible—but surprisingly, it can be done! That said, it’s probably not the fatty part being used; they’re likely pressing the hard bony area and putting their weight on it to crack the shell.

Speedy side-to-side movement is also important for this challenge, so make sure to practice that as well.

Number of T-shirts worn layered at onceNEW!

Since T-shirts are worn in summer, most people basically wear just one, right? When layering, you might throw on a jacket or wear a long-sleeve shirt under an oversized T-shirt.

I don’t think people usually layer T-shirts themselves.

So let’s try this fun Guinness World Record! All you have to do is keep putting on more T-shirts, so it’s easy to attempt.

Start with a fitted size, and as you add layers, switch to larger sizes.

It’s recommended to have someone help you put the T-shirts on!

Most digits of pi after the decimal point recited from memory in one minuteNEW!

Many of you probably learned the digits of pi starting from 3.14 when you were children, right? In this Guinness World Records challenge, you see how many digits after the decimal point of memorized pi you can recite within one minute! The key point is that you have to memorize them, not just read them aloud.

To break the record, being able to recite them smoothly without mistakes is essential, so if you’re confident in your memory, give it a try.

It’s a simple task of memorizing numbers, so anyone can take part!
