Level up over summer break! Recommended practice songs for guitarists (71–80)

It’s not particularly difficult, but it’s a song where the guitar really shines! The tempo isn’t fast, but it has a great groove, so I think you’ll have fun playing it.
It includes power chords and a solo section, making it a pretty fulfilling practice piece for beginners!
Wherever you areONE OK ROCK
Many of you probably know this song—it’s a famous ONE OK ROCK track that’s even been used in commercials.
The tempo is slow and there aren’t any particularly difficult parts, so I think beginners can enjoy playing it! There’s also a cool solo section, so go ahead and play that part with confidence!

This is a recommended song for female band members.
There are versions with one guitar and with two guitars—be sure to try both.
It’s perfect for practicing chord changes.
There’s also a guitar solo, but it’s not particularly difficult, and the phrases are cool, so why not give it a try?
Those who fight the monster called realityTakahashi Yuu
Rather than for guitar beginners, this song is perfect for those new to singing and playing.
Of course, I also recommend trying the lead guitar phrases! There’s a chord change to F, which is considered a hurdle for guitar novices, so I think it makes for great practice.
For the record, this was the first song I did as a sing-and-play performance.

A track by Green Day that achieved the historic feat of becoming the first punk band to win the Grammy’s top honor, Record of the Year.
It’s the title track and single from their seventh album, American Idiot, delivering a refreshing blend of modern yet classic punk sounds.
The guitar part is simple, with bold strumming, but because the backing requires quick position shifts, you need to play in a way that prevents each note from cutting off, or you’ll lose the sense of speed.
Precisely because it’s simple, don’t get complacent—this rock tune lets the guitar take center stage.
