I want to enjoy Halloween crafts with 2-year-olds! But many people may be unsure what to make.

In fact, there are plenty of memorable Halloween craft ideas you can do together while feeling the season.

We introduce activities like handprint art, paper plate buckets, and wobbling ghosts that you can enjoy with the children.

Stained Glass Monster with Tissue Paper

Tissue paper is fluffy and feels nice to the touch, doesn’t it? For this craft, you cut tissue paper and construction paper into a pumpkin frame to easily make a faux stained glass.

Stick a transparent cut plastic sheet onto the black pumpkin outline, then tear pieces of tissue paper and paste them on top.

If you use various colors, the stained glass will sparkle beautifully when light shines through it.

It would be great to stick them on your windows and enjoy them during a Halloween party.

Be sure to display and enjoy your own original stained glass!

Plump-plump pumpkin

Puffy and cute! 🎃💕 This time, I’ll show you an easy, cute, and nicely rounded 3D version 🥰✨ It’s super simple to make ✨✨ Cut lots of long, thin strips of construction paper, punch holes in both ends with a hole punch, and bend the tip of a chenille stem (pipe cleaner) a little and twist it so it won’t poke your fingers. Thread the paper strips onto the pipe cleaner, twist the top of the pipe cleaner, then gently fan out the strips. Stick on eyes and a mouth for the pumpkin 🎃 and you’ve got an adorably puffy pumpkin! 💕 Add some string and hang it up— it spins around cutely like a mobile 💕 ☠🎃 Happy Halloween 🍭🍬 What colors will you use? ✨ Definitely give it a try! 💕 —————————— I used: • Construction paper • Pipe cleaners • Scissors • Hole punch —————————— ☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆ Thank you always for your comments and likes 😊 I’m super happy to hear from those who say “I made it!” ☺️♥️ Can’t wait to see what you all play with and make 😆✨✨ ☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆#HalloweenDecorations#HandmadeHalloweenPoster Board Craft

Here’s a cute idea for a pumpkin decoration with a plump, round shape.

First, cut black construction paper to make the facial features.

Next, prepare about 15 thin, long strips of orange construction paper, stack them, and punch holes at both ends.

Thread both holes onto a pipe cleaner with rounded ends, then twist the pipe cleaner to secure it at a point where the paper curves slightly.

Shape the extra length of the pipe cleaner to look like a vine.

Spread the paper strips out to form a sphere, and finally attach the face pieces to finish.

You can display it as is, or hang it as a decoration—it’ll look adorable either way.

Accordion-fold bat

An accordion-fold bat that can also be used as a Halloween room decoration.

Since it can be made with a few parts centered around construction paper, it’s recommended for childcare settings with two-year-old children.

The key is to pre-cut the paper for the wings, eyes, and ears into separate parts.

Fold a square sheet of construction paper in half three times to make creases, then accordion-fold along the lines and secure the center with tape.

Align the two ends to form a paper fan.

Finally, attach the wings, ears, and eyes to complete a three-dimensional bat.

We’d like to introduce a Halloween craft where you can make unique ghosts just by tearing and sticking paper.

First, prepare a large sheet of white drawing paper or poster paper.

Cut several colors of construction paper into large pieces in any sizes you like, then freely paste them onto the base.

Once they’re stuck on, layer two round stickers of different sizes to make the eyes.

Draw the mouth, and use scraps of colored paper for the hands and feet to complete lots of cute ghosts.

Sticking small stickers and tearing construction paper will also help improve fine motor skills.

Kids love getting absorbed in activities like tearing paper, don’t they? For this Halloween craft, children glue torn pieces of origami paper onto a pumpkin base prepared by the teacher.

Interest in actions like tearing and pulling paper tends to grow around age two.

Even if they can’t tear into small pieces yet, they begin to manage larger tears, which broadens the fun.

Incorporating this into crafts is highly recommended as practice for fine motor skills—children can enjoy the process of making something while developing dexterity.

Have you ever had the experience of getting paint on your clothes during art activities and not being able to get it out? Did you know there’s a method that lets you use paint without dirtying your clothes, so you can enjoy creating? This time, let’s use that method to make a Halloween ghost.

First, place a sheet of construction paper inside a food storage bag, squeeze your favorite paints on top of the paper, and seal the bag.

Spread the paint from the outside of the bag, and it will transform into a ghost.

Once the paint dries, add eyes with stickers or a felt-tip pen to finish.

You can have fun while developing expressive skills and enjoying the way paint colors move.

A colorful Halloween created by everyone

This is a Halloween wall display combining handprint ghosts from the 0-year-old class, footprint pumpkins from the 1-year-old class, and mummies from the 2-year-old class.

It brings together the infant classes’ works on a single wall.

Please pre-cut the ghosts, pumpkin vines and leaves, and mummies from construction paper.

For the white mummy strips, cut construction paper into long, thin pieces and have the 2-year-olds stick them on.

For the background, use rollers with the children to paint it purple and black to create atmosphere.

It’s also recommended to add a full moon, a castle, and bats alongside the artworks.
