Mummy Wrapping Game

Even if you’re not dressed up for Halloween, you can still become a mummy in this game! Wrap toilet paper around someone’s body to transform them into a mummy.
Form groups, and choose one person in each group to be the mummy.
Within the time limit, the others wrap toilet paper around the mummy’s body to complete the transformation.
Have several groups compete at once, and in the end, let bystanders judge which mummy looks the most complete to decide the winner.
When wrapping the face, make sure to leave space so the person can breathe properly.
Devil’s Breath

“Devil’s Breath” is a game where you blow out candle flames with an air cannon.
Cut a round hole in the front of a large paper box and fill the inside with white smoke.
Once it’s filled, temporarily cover the hole so the smoke doesn’t escape.
Light the candle, then slap both sides of the box to fire the air cannon.
Aim carefully at the flame and send the smoke flying.
If the candle goes out, you’ve succeeded.
You can compete to see how many candles you can extinguish at once, or increase the distance to make it more challenging.
Please be very careful to prevent fires.
Ghost Ball-Throw Game

How about a “Throw-the-Ball-at-the-Ghost” game that kids can easily play at a Halloween party? It’s a simple game where you throw a ball at a ghost, but there’s a trick: if the skull ball hits the ghost’s hat and the ball drops, the ghost’s face changes into a crying one.
You can make the ghost and the mechanism out of cardboard, so try building it together with the kids! The moment the ghost’s face changes will surprise even adults, so kids are sure to love it even more.
Candy grab

For kids, the candy grab game is practically a reward in itself.
In true Halloween fashion, fill a pumpkin ghost basket with individually wrapped treats and let the children grab as many as they can with their hands.
They can keep whatever they manage to grab as a present, which is sure to delight them.
Around October, lots of candies come in special Halloween packaging, so using those adds an extra festive touch.
For little ones with small hands who find it hard to grab many, it’s a good idea to provide tools like a ladle.
Halloween Ring Toss

Let’s liven up Halloween with a ring toss game that kids love! How about making both the rings and the targets cute and Halloween-themed? Use toilet paper rolls or thick paper to create tubes, snip slits at the bottom so they can be attached to a base, and secure them.
Cover the tubes with colored paper and decorate them by drawing pumpkins, ghosts, black cats, mummies, and other cute designs.
For the rings, you can form circles from pipe cleaners, or roll up strips of newspaper into thin rings—both work great!
Halloween True-or-False Quiz

Here’s an introduction to a Halloween true-or-false quiz game.
The questions cover topics like the origins of Halloween, the meaning of dressing up in costumes, and why pumpkins are used, so answer with true or false.
It’s highly recommended because it lets you explore the meanings behind seasonal traditions.
Younger children can enjoy it too, so let’s invite people of all ages to join! If you get lots of answers right, you might even become a Halloween expert.
Give it a try!

Halloween bowling game

This is a game where you make bowling pins using origami paper and toilet paper rolls, then roll a ball to play.
Create them with a Halloween theme—witches, pumpkins, mummies, and more.
All you have to do is wrap origami paper around the toilet paper rolls, making it perfect for kids’ crafts.
You can also get eye and hat stickers at a 100-yen shop to enhance the theme.
Line up the pins like in bowling and compete for scores to make it more game-like.
Just by adding some illustrations, you can bring a Halloween vibe to everyday play!
