custodial cast style

You can spot custodial cast members cleaning throughout Tokyo Disney Resort.
How about making a headband inspired by their costumes? Decorate the ears and base mainly in blue and white.
Try adding buttons like those on their uniforms, or craft a name tag out of felt to attach.
Instead of a bow between the ears, it’s also recommended to make and attach a hat like the one custodial cast members wear.
If you want to create a headband that’s a little different from everyone else’s, give this a try!
Tower of Terror headband

Let’s try making a headband inspired by Tokyo DisneySea’s hugely popular attraction, the Tower of Terror! If you’re basing it on the attraction cast members’ costumes, it’s recommended to keep it in black tones and add eerie green accents.
If you’re taking inspiration from the idol Shiriki Utundu, a brown base with touches of colors that evoke the attraction might work well.
Depending on the materials and decorations you use, it’s recommended to create a slightly spooky vibe that could also work for Halloween!
baby headband

Let’s try making a Minnie headband for a baby.
Since Disneyland doesn’t sell baby-sized headbands, it’s a good idea to make one and bring it.
First, make the ears out of felt.
Attach batting (domette) with glue to give the ears firmness.
Stuff some craft cotton inside.
Next, cut the bow from red fabric and fill it with cotton.
After stuffing and sewing it closed, add the center piece to shape it into a bow.
Attach all the parts to the base, sew on elastic lace, and it’s done.

♪ Mickey Mouse March – from 'The Mickey Mouse Club' – Yuko Mifune (piano)
If you wear a pair of uniquely original Mickey ear headbands, you’re sure to turn heads at the theme park and make lasting memories.
This idea is inspired by Minnie, but you can easily adapt it into a Mickey version by sticking to chic, subdued colors.
The best part is that there’s no sewing at all—just gluing everything together.
Use a simple store-bought headband for the base, and lightweight cork coasters for the ears.
Once the base is assembled, decorate it with lace, rhinestones, scrunchies, and more.
Mickey ear headband with a Christmas design
https://www.tiktok.com/@mmhiromi7/video/7439221767165562119Let’s customize a store-bought headband to make Mickey ears.
This one features a Christmas design, embellished with a party hat, faux fur, and rhinestones for a festive finish.
The design is up to you—try using classic Christmas colors, a blue palette that evokes snow, and play around with the placement of decorations to create a cute headband that reflects your style.
To keep the look cohesive, we recommend wrapping the base headband with fabric.
Jamboree Mickey ear headband
https://www.tiktok.com/@ainoerix/video/7283428763713473793Let’s make a headband that matches a Jamboree Mickey costume.
Speaking of the Jamboree Mickey dancer’s outfit, the tricolor colors give it a fresh look, right? With that image in mind, I made Mickey ears in tricolor.
Use a white base, add tricolor ribbons and sequins, and finish by decorating the center with a red bow.
The original dancer doesn’t wear a headband, but adding one makes the look even cuter and draws more attention.

Mickey costume from Steamboat Willie
Speaking of Mickey from Steamboat Willie, he wears white shorts, a black T-shirt, and a black, white, and gray striped scarf.
It looks like the T-shirt and scarf can be prepared as ready-made items, so here we’re only making the white shorts by hand.
You just sew the body pieces together, so anyone who can use a sewing machine should be able to make them easily.
Once you’ve got the outfit on, put on a headband with Mickey ears to transform into Mickey! If you have time, you could also handmake the scarf.
