Clear slime
Let’s try making super clear slime at home! Put some liquid laundry starch (PVA glue) into a glass container and mix while adding borax solution little by little.
To get highly transparent slime, the key is to use a saturated borax solution.
You can make it by dissolving borax in ten times its weight of water.
Once well mixed, heat it in a microwave, then cover and let it rest when it reaches the desired firmness.
Wipe off any droplets on the lid and the sides of the container and wait for the bubbles to dissipate—about two weeks.
You’ll have clear, bouncy slime!
Glitter slime
How about making a super sparkly slime packed with so much glitter you’ll think, “Isn’t this too much?!” It’s super easy: just add a ton of glitter to clear slime.
The crunchy, gritty feel when you mix in the glitter is irresistible! You can load up one color and knead it in, then dump in a bunch of another color to enjoy the shift in hues.
Just note that if you add too many different kinds, the color will lose its beauty.
If you want a pretty finish, it’s best to stick to one or two colors.
Super Basic Slime
With this method, you can’t go wrong—it’s a super basic way to make it perfectly! Thoroughly dissolve 5 g of borax in 300 ml of hot water and pour it into a bottle.
Put the amount of liquid laundry glue (PVA glue) you need for the amount of slime you want into a bowl, then gradually add the borax solution you prepared while kneading with a spatula.
Once it starts to get sticky, knead it further with your hands.
When it reaches a firmness that doesn’t stick to your hands, it’s done.
It’s easy to mess up if you add the borax solution all at once, so be patient and mix it in little by little.

dried slime
A must-see for ASMR lovers! Slime is usually enjoyed for its sticky, springy feel, but by letting it dry, you can experience a completely different texture.
The method is super simple: put a small amount of slime into a small dish or shallow plate of your choice and leave it until it dries.
Once it’s fully dry and stuck to the container, pinch it with tweezers and gently peel it off from the edge—you’ll get an indescribably satisfying feeling! Why not give it a try when you’re stressed or want to clear your head?
Slime that envelops water
It might look beautiful to wrap water in a clear slime… If that thought crossed your mind, let’s experiment right away! There are many store-bought slimes with different textures—jelly-like slime, clay slime, runny slime, and more—but the type that’s somewhat firm is said to be better for enclosing water.
Stretch it well, scoop up some water, and pinch it closed, and you’ll have a slime water balloon! It will burst quickly, so don’t miss the brief, beautiful moment! Try it with homemade slime too.

Let’s make a mysterious slime that’s attracted to magnets by adding iron filings! Mix hot water and liquid laundry starch (PVA glue) in a 1:1 ratio.
Then add 1 teaspoon of borax solution—made by dissolving 1 teaspoon of borax in 50 ml of water—and stir.
Keep removing the parts that solidify into slime and repeat the process.
Once you’ve made enough slime, gather it together, add iron filings, and knead well to finish your iron-filings slime! Try bringing a magnet close to see it get pulled in, or place a magnet on top and watch it get swallowed—enjoy a different way to play compared to ordinary slime!

You can even make fantastical glowing slime at home! Put 10 g of borax into a disposable plastic cup, fill it halfway with water, and mix.
Next, pour 20 ml of lukewarm water into a separate cup and dissolve 2 g of water-based phosphorescent powder in it.
Add 40 ml of liquid laundry glue to that and stir well, then add 15 ml of the borax solution and mix thoroughly until it thickens—your glowing slime is ready.
Phosphorescent materials absorb light in bright places and emit it in the dark, so if you expose the slime to light for a while and then move it to a dark area, it will glow even more beautifully!
