Handmade snow globe ideas: simple yet cute crafts (11–20)
photo snow globe

An original snow globe made with a stylish plastic case and a photo is perfect as a gift for a close friend! Attach a photo to the back of the plastic case so it’s visible from the front, then cover it with a protective seal.
After that, pour in purified water and liquid laundry starch, add glitter, and it’s done in no time.
Give them a shimmering keepsake made with a memorable photo, and they’re sure to love it.
The higher the liquid’s viscosity, the more slowly the glitter will fall, so adjust it to your liking.
Flower snow globe ring

A perfect challenge for anyone who loves detailed work: a miniature snow globe made with resin and a ring.
For the dome, use nail stickers to recreate flowers in full bloom; for the base, decorate with a ring and ceramic flower parts to evoke a flower field.
Attach each part, inject baby oil with a syringe, and it’s complete.
The key to a beautiful finish is fully curing the resin at each step! It’s a bit advanced, but if you work carefully, you’ll end up with a piece so polished it’s hard to believe it’s handmade.
Acrylic stand snow globe

A must-see for anyone who supports idols or anime characters! How about making your favorite acrylic stand shine even more inside a snow globe? Stand the acrylic stand upright and stick it to the bottom of a plastic display box used for figures.
For items that can’t stand on their own, we recommend securing them with rubber outlet caps.
Next, pour into the case a liquid made by mixing water and glycerin at a 9:1 ratio, adding snowflakes or glitter.
Attach the bottom securely, and you’re done! If your collection has gotten a bit out of hand, give this a try!
Snow globe keychain

Sparkling keychains, solar-powered keychains, keychains that make sounds when pressed—everyone has unique keychains on their bags, don’t they? So why not try making your own mini keychain that looks like a snow globe? If you can cut a vinyl sheet from a 100-yen shop and make a small pouch, the rest is just standard snow globe materials! It might look stylish to include anime characters, photos of your favorite idol, or things like nuts and fallen leaves.
You can even find the keychain hardware at larger 100-yen shops.
Stand out more than anyone else with your handmade keychain!
Miffy doll snow globe

Do you know the rabbit character called Nijntje Pluis? In Japan she’s known as Usako-chan, and in the UK as Miffy—yes, that Miffy.
It’s surprising she has an official name, isn’t it? So, how about making a cute snow globe featuring Miffy? If you pick up a Miffy figure and a small jam jar from a 100-yen shop, all you need to do is add whatever you like.
The trick is to choose a small jar about the same size as the Miffy figure.
Miffy standing serenely amid swirling sparkles—it’s soothing even before you start making it.
