Fun for kids and adults alike! Why not handcraft a mini car road using a file case? All you need is a file case, colored board, and artificial turf.
First, prepare a road design or drawing, then glue it onto the colored board.
Once it’s dry, cut out the road and arrange it inside the file case.
After you’ve decided on the placement, glue it down and let it dry.
Cut the artificial turf and fill in the gaps to finish! The artificial turf gives it a striking look you won’t find in store-bought products, so definitely give it a try.
Parking garage with ramps made from cardboard

You can make it by hand with cardboard! Here’s how to create a Tomica parking garage with a ramp.
Stick a grass-pattern sheet or silver adhesive tape onto the top surface of the cardboard.
Use a white pen to draw parking lines on one side of the lot.
Cut out the opposite side to create the ramp.
Cut the sides to match the ramp’s width.
If the ramp isn’t long enough, extend it.
When you extend it, it’s recommended to reinforce the joint by adding a base underneath.
Finally, decorate around the cardboard and you’re done.

You’ll need cushion mats, hook-and-loop fasteners, black duct tape, and thick paper (cardstock).
First, stick the duct tape onto the cushion mat to create roads.
In the open spaces, attach pieces of hook-and-loop fastener while imagining the town you want to build.
Next, draw or paste pictures on the cardstock to match your town.
Put hook-and-loop fastener on the back of the cardstock pieces and stick them onto the town on the cushion mat—and you’re done! Since the cushion mats can be combined, try different layouts and enjoy experimenting.
