Moves without touching! Mysterious Tomica Town

It moves without touching it! Here’s how to make a mysterious Tomica setup.
Prepare a 335 mm × 500 mm PP sheet, road-pattern or gray masking tape, adhesive magnetic tape, and a ruler with a magnet attached, etc.
First, place your Tomica cars on the PP sheet to decide the layout of Tomica Town.
Apply the masking tape so it matches the layout you arranged.
Next, stick magnets to the underside of the Tomica cars, and you’re done.
Use a magnetized ruler or similar tool to move them from the back of the sheet and play!
In conclusion
When you make maps by hand, it’s fun because you can choose any size you like.
If you discuss everything with your child—from selecting materials to designing the map—it becomes a great way for kids and adults to communicate.
Portable maps can be taken on trips, too, so try making maps in various sizes and enjoy playing with them together!
