Here’s an idea for a convenient shoulder-carry tote bag.

Prepare 1 outer fabric piece, 2 lining pieces, 1 pocket piece, and 2 handle pieces.

Apply fusible interfacing to the lining.

Sew the pocket onto the lining, then attach the lining to the outer fabric.

Since this bag has a facing, leave the upper part of the outer fabric open.

Insert the handles—made by folding narrow strips of fabric—into the folded-in facing on the inside, and stitch to secure.
