An Animagus is a witch or wizard who can transform into a specific animal at will. In the series, this ability is extremely rare, and only a few characters possess it. When transforming into an Animagus, they can return to their original human form at any time by their own will, and they can freely use the abilities of the animal they transform into.

Wool Orphanage

The orphanage where Tom Riddle lived was called the Wool's Orphanage. He would later become feared as Voldemort, but he spent his childhood growing up in this orphanage.

The name of Headmaster Dumbledore’s phoenix is Fawkes. Fawkes is a phoenix, and when his life comes to an end, he bursts into flames and is reborn from the ashes as a young bird. It is also said that Fawkes’s tears have healing powers, and when Harry was bitten by the basilisk, those tears saved his life.

Severus Snape

The Half-Blood Prince refers to Severus Snape. In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, he is the character whose title is revealed, and it is discovered that he owned a Potions textbook filled with his own annotations. Snape’s mother was Eileen Prince, and his father was the Muggle Tobias Snape. For this reason, he called himself the “Half-Blood Prince.”
